The application process of this Garnier Good dye kit was simple to follow and fairly swift to undertake even counting in the 30min developing time. I had a brand new look in under an hour including washing, drying and styling my hair. All can even be done whilst watching an episode of your fave series with the new non-drip formula. I of course carried out a 48hr test patch behind my ear and on my wrist beforehand - better to be on the safe side. Though I have sensitive skin on my scalp and skin in general I've experienced no issue with this product. I saw this product advertised and looked at reviews and thought good reviews. I read the instructions and followed them to the latter. I'm not going to lie, when the 30 mins was up and I saw the final look I cried. My hair was orange! I quickly looked at the box again for advise. It should not have gone orange! I quickly looked to Google for help and it said about a purple shampoo. I did this and it did help a little, my hair was now yellow not orange at least. But my hair was still not the colour the box promised. I had to go to the hairdresser's the next day to fix it. They said it was probably because it dyed into natural hair colour not bleached hair. I wanted a non drip product which is why I wanted to swap from Clairol Nice and Easy. I had read some negative reviews but just thought they may not have used the product properly, they were right.It is non drip and easy to use. However when you come to rinse the dye out, your hair mats up like you've bleached it wrong. I think this is why I had a lot of hair come out. Even washing your hair 3 or 4 times afterwards it still clumps. The conditioner helps to unclump it, but it doesn't leave your hair feeling nice, I had to use hair oil. My hair did look very glossy and black, but about 4 washes later, I can see it's started to look dark brown.I did the patch test, which went well, but my scalp has been slightly itchy since.
