Awesome BBQ

This BBQ has performed really well the 3 months that we've owned it. Cooked roasts and sausages and been a pleasure to cook on. Nice and solid too, worth the $$

Compact and efficient

I bought my Gasmate Odyssey 2 BBQ a month back and I have used it several times already despite the variable weather here in Newcastle. Assembling it was easy and it performs very efficiently. I like its shape, strong construction, ease of operation and the speed with which it gets up to heat. Compact and easy to move around to get it out of the rain makes this a great improvement on our earlier BBQ which was dying after 20 years of use.

Good Product

Great product. Only issue was that the hose fittings didn’t come in the package as advertised.

I don’t now I had to return it. Very disappointed

I had to return it due to being unable to unloose screws that were fitted to tightly and the head of the screws shredded. The lid was also scratched. Very disappointing

Nice bbq

we bought this wanting a smaller bbq for 2 of us but with the room to cook for more if needed when family or friends pop over, takes some time to put trolly together but got there in the end , was a little dissappointed in the way the centre grill plate sits into the middle its a bit off but works ok , also the underneath the plates is wide open and doesn't really funnel the fat or juices away in a controlled manner but overall i would say its a fairly good product at the moment

Not recommended

I received the barbecue yesterday and I have never swore so much in my life nothing lines up .getting to the stage where it's going to be boxed up and returned. You can tell this one has been out before and reboxed, it should be sold semi assembled

Quite disappointing.

The stand build quality is very cheap. Mostly plastic. I did not receive enough bolts/screws in the pack to correctly assemble the unit. The cut-out for the gas bottle is too small for a standard 9kg bottle. Overall, quite disappointing and I regret buying it.

Terrible quality

I bought this over the Weber because it had a flat plate but took it back after using it once. A lot of small issues I was willing to overlook but in the end the fats and oils leaking over the front was the last straw. Issues were: bbq was originally red and had been painted black- there were scratches showing. Next rusted screws on the underside. A leaking gas line (fixable), and the temperature gauge stopped working.
