Great product, easy to install, crystal clear picture.Things worth noting:When the screen is turned off, it still acts as a regular rear vision mirror. During daylight hours, this can make it a little difficult while driving to quickly differentiate between the mirror reflection, and the video footage. For my purposes, I leave the screen off while driving. When I flick it into reverse, the screen automatically turns on so I can see what is behind me.If you're looking for something to display rear camera footage full time, this may not be the ideal footage for the above mentioned reasons.Cable Length: I installed this on my single cab hilux ute and required the cable extension pack.

I've had this fitted in my new Ranger for a few weeks, I have a canopy on the back of the Ranger so you can't see behind. Had previous reverse/rear view camera systems on previous vehicles, which were fine but this one is super clear, love the way you can swipe the screen to lower the brightness at night, it also doubles as a rear view crash cam if you fit a Micro SD card. The cable that runs from the mirror screen to the camera was long enough, through the dual cab roof lining, under the rear tray and plugged into the camera. I did buy an extension cable but didn't need it as the cable was quite long. Quality of the picture is great in both day and night. Value for money.

I bought this product 1 year ago to place behind my canopy so I could always have clear vision of what's behind me. Vision wise, it's pretty good and you can see clearly during the daytime however at night headlights distort the image and a car 100m behind you can appear about 10m behind you (however this may simply be due to the angle I have it mounted). About 6 months after installing is when the issues began. It started working intermittently and turns on but shows no image, now 12 months down the line it basically never shows an image. A tremendous waste of money really.

I needed a reverse camera in my Jeep and was given huge quotes for similar products to be installed and some recommened for even a whole new head unit $$$. I did my research and bought the Gator90MKT. It was simple to install (got the boyfriend to do it) and I was extremely impressed with how clear and accurate it was, not to mention it was the whole screen and you could live stream to it! If you don't want it always on you can set the timer so it goes back to a normal mirror and turns on automatically when in reverse. Even at night it's clear and the picture is good. Grants audio in Morley can also install these for you if you bring it in to them. I'm extremely happy with mine and highly recommend. Definitely worth the money!
Fitted to a Hyundai I load van, reflected light on sunny days inhibited vision regardless or adjustments. At night I could only make out the area directly away from reverse light. Other times there were but two images coming up at the same time. One the reflection the other an image generated from the camera. One over the top of another. Having the monitor screen so high causes competing light sauces to interfere with the normal view screen Not happy.Terence Brennan
Depending where you mount your rear camera, just above rear LIC plate on my Commodore makes seeing behind you so much easier than guessing especially when the windows are wet or fogged up.Then there's the rear *Dash Cam* recording what's happening behind you!! The quality is superb for both camera and display, Tho an anti glare film would help with the glare. Over all very pleased with my purchase.
Although the camera was easy to install, the screws supplied were inadequate for their function and broke during installation. The screen is comparatively heavy, and when mounted on the rear view mirror causes the mirror to sag. The brightness (or lack of it) of the screen is also an issue - if driving with sunglasses, the image is difficult to see without spending time to focus which is detrimental to safe driving. When driving at night, the image is unclear and pixelated, unless there are streetlights, in which case, the image is beautiful. However, those are the bad points ... the good points are: easy to install, and the image when viewed without sunglasses is clear with good resolution. We have ours fitted to our 4WD with restricted rear view. I bought this rear view camera for my wifes Yaris, we are very happy with it but it could be better. Installation was easy, the length of cable that goes to the camera was just long enough, & that was for a small car, if your installing in a large car or truck you will need to buy the extension, also power comes from your plug in 12v supply or cigeratte lighter (for a neater install i intalled a hidden 12v supply for the plug to go into) you can buy the socket from jaycar. Or you can purchace the hardwire kit.The camera itsself is very clear plus you can move it up or down from the touchscreen. It would be nice if the screen was a direct replacement of your factory mirror rather than stapping it over the top of your original mirror.I went with this screen as ... MoreI bought this rear view camera for my wifes Yaris, we are very happy with it but it could be better. I bought this reversing camera 3 weeks ago. It is a terrble unit. When used during the day, the mirror/display is not bright enough to be used (pointless of having a reversing camera). When able to see the display, you would need to scroll up or down to see the whole picture. The unit I had was also faulty. Sometimes the display would come on, other times it won't. I took it back to Supercheap but they would not give be a refund. I mentioned about the item is not as desbribed and also faulty. The staff said she would send it back for warranty repairs. I mentioned that when it was working, the display was not bright enough to see. Again, she would not give me a refund and mentioned that she would send it to the manufacturer for warranty claim.
Sistas, I had watched some YouTube vids. I knew to disconnect battery and I watched a video on where to access kia brake light for bulb change. I set up front mirror and plugged it in. Googled which wire it was. I borrowed dads drill, drill bits, a spanner, tape. Bought a wire stripper at bargain shop. took off number plate with drill. Stripped wire parted wire threaded camera wire twisted and covered with electrical tape. Fitted cam upside down, take two. Put right way up. I'm blown away by the camera tbh, its a different driving experience with it installed, visibility is 100% better. Recommend. (green wire was one i wired it to, black was neutral and mauve was ?). I could have spent 450 to get a similar model top line one installed and wired in fully. or bought one with an added mini front view camera/dash cam but i'm please to have a fantastic rear view, whilst driving and reversing, that is adjustable for 185!
