A Must Have for Gym and On the Go Workouts

One of my new year's resolutions for 2023 was to get back in shape and actually keep up going to the gym on a daily basis. I have always carried a gym membership, but like many, find excuses or become too busy to actually go on a consistent basis. But, this year I am making a point to make myself go. Some were adding the Gx Pods into the bottles for a refreshing Gatorade fix, while others like me had it filled with water.I have thrown out so many sports and travel plastic bottles due to them smelling after awhile of constant use, or they would start to get moldy. Also, many were hard to clean, especially under the screw top or around the piece you put in your mouth. But, this Gx Bottle is so easy to clean and washes with ease.I am so pleased with my Gx Bottle and love bringing it to the gym to re-hydrate while working out or after a class. This is a must have for gym goers or those who love to run or stay active and carry water or use Gx Pods for a Gatorade fix. Highly recommend.

Cool design, medium quality.

I won this item in a white elephant chritmas party game, and I was pretty excited about it. Being an distance runner, having a water bottle for my post run electrolytes will be a great item to have. The looks of the water bottle itself has a very sleek look to it, and it does make me feel more satisfied using it because of that. However, if that is not an important factor to you than this waterbottle is probably not the best option. First of all, the pods that are supposed to be used with it can be quite expensive. Target sells an 4 pack for $7.99, which is nearly $2 a pod. It can be a little cheaper when buying in more bulk sizes. However, the gatorade pods are not the most effective route financially. The type of plastic that is used for this bottle is quick to attrack dirt and mildew within the bottle, making it get dirty very quickly. The bottle is dishwasher safe, however the dishwasher couldn't get the mildew off. I had to stick a wet paper towl to the bottom of bottle and wipe out all the dirt and mildew. I love the design of the bottle, and I love that I am able to acsess the drink through the squirting feature on the lid. However, I feel it is more of a hassle to clean the bottle than it might be worth. If Gatorade used a higher quality of plastic, or found a feautre that didn't trap the dirt at the bottom at such rate that it does, then this bottle would be a great item.

Darker color and faulty lid

This bottle’s coloring is much darker than the picture. The marbled white looks light blue and white online, but it has dark blue and even green on it. If you do personalization, just be aware that the font is smaller than other bottles, probably to accommodate the color stripe on the lid. I ordered 5 bottles and this style’s font is noticeably smaller. Also, the clip on the cap that opens up for the pod keeps coming dislodged or falling off all together. It’s annoying to keep clipping it back on, and now it doesn’t latch tightly on the bottom anymore. I have reached out for a replacement lid. So far, the other bottles latch fine. If you don’t plan to use pods, this isn’t a big deal because the cap does unscrew and can be filled that way. Horrible customer service and leaking

I purchased five personalized bottles for Christmas presents. By mid January, one was leaking and another one’s clasp was falling off repeatedly. It took several phone calls and email messages to get to get a replacement. But, Gatorade didn’t send the whole cap for either, just parts and not even in the matching colors to the ones I already purchased. Right away, my gifts looked mismatched and odd. So much for the personalization. No need! Everyone could tell that the weird one was not theirs and wouldn’t accidentally grab it. I was shocked that a company like Gatorade was so cheap and didn’t want to make their faulty product right! Now, softball season has officially started, and two are leaking regularly: one so bad it won’t ever be used again. I've been drinking Gatorade since it first became available commercially.I wanted to try this because it was a cool, impressive bottle. People see you using it and they want to know where you got it.My only complaint is the poor directions on how to use it. As a senior citizen, sometimes things are a little more difficult to figure it out.The pods have a label on top, the area that you press down to release the liquid. No where in the instructions did it say remove the label before attempting to dispense.My first try to dispense the liquid I didn't remove the label and it took great effort to puncture the seal. My second attempt I removed the label first and it took much less effort to penetrate.The bottle itself is easy to drink from. Nice sports bottle

Excited to try the bottle. At first look, it's a typical sports bottle with Gatorade logos, simple colors but nice looking. The material is more of a softer plastic, but firm enough to ensure it keeps its shape and not difficult to squeeze if you need to. It has slight indentations to kind of fit your hands. The top has a latch that opens so you can fill it with water. Its pretty easy to pen but secure when you close it. There is a removable plate at the top, not too sure what it's for. The Gatorade pod system is pretty cool. They are small little pods that pop right on to the opened bottle to dispense the liquid to make your own Gatorade. The water bottle works great with these nifty concentrated pods, but... what's the point? The pods come out to approximately $2 each. It's been a while since I've paid for a bottled gatorade, or even a case of them, but even with the current environment of hyper inflation, $2 for a gatorade seems steep; especially when you factor in that these pods save in packaging and shipping costs due to reduced water content and weight. And if you're the kind of person who uses a bottle to reduce waste, this is counter to that mission since its the equivalent of just pouring a regular bottle into your own. I still recommend the powders if you're making your own gatorade, but if you're able to avoid this product that's what I'd do. Will make your watwr taste nasty.

Makes water taste NASTY. At first I thought it was just the water I had served so I threw it out and washed the cup again but served myself water in a different cup and had no taste issues. Used the cup on another occasion and had the same water taste issue. My sister also has her own cup and came back from the gym saying the water gad a weird nasty taste. I told her it was the cup making it taste weird. She tested out the cup again on a different day and agreed. Again, makes waster taste NASTY. Really wanted to keep this cup since I love the color keep but I will unfortunately not be using it )):

Apparently I was very wrong!This water bottle, first off, is the perfect size as it holds 30 oz of liquid, keeping you hydrated for a either a long period of time or for a long, intense workout. I'm addition to holding the perfect amount, it's also a great size for my hand!! It's super easy for my to hold comfortably - very easy to grab and go when leaving the house and/or in the middle of exercising. It's super easy to drink out of, too. I haven't "tested" this yet, but it seems very durable (whereas many other water bottles seem like they might crack of dropped, etc).
