Gatorade Sports Drink Orange Ice

Gatorade Orange thirst quencher is honestly my favorite color/flavor of Gatorade. I'll buy it in bulk actually lol. It's perfect for after working out or working in the yard on warm days or even just drinking one while relaxing and watching TV. It's definitely hydrating and really does help with thirst. The only issue I have with any Gatorade is the way it kinda leaves a taste in my mouth after I have drank it. I usually have to brush my teeth after I finish one because it makes my mouth feel weird lol

I'm not a fan of sugary drinks. I mainly drink water and only water, but occasionally when I feel like something with a little more flavor to it, this would be my go-to. Gatorade has always been the best of the sports drinks and for whatever reason, I'm all about the orange flavor. It goes down the easiest when I'm first for something like this and need a boost of electrolytes. It's great for when you're sick as well. There's been a lot of brands trying to copy Gatorade over the years, but nothing else compares.

It's better than just drinking water to replace everything I've lost when I've had a rough patch. This flavor is really good. I tend to use a little more of the powder than the directions call for but I also make it by the gallon to keep on hand which is easy and at the price these are usually sold at, making it myself is much more economical than buying it premade by the bottle or any of the alternatives on the market.

We all drink Gatorade in my house. My kids and I are always running around outside in the hot Florida sun and my husband works outside a lot. I like the orange flavor the best, it is sweet without being too sweet. Gatorade, is the perfect drink to have if you want to stay hydrated and keep your electrolytes balanced. It is very effective, if I start to feel dehydrated, I usually feel better after having one glass of Gatorade. I love that I can easily find my flavor in almost any store and it is inexpensive.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! So happy Gatorade created it. I had been drinking powders that claim to have electrolytes and other restorative ingredients needed after exercising in the heat. Then, while traveling, I found Gatorlyte in an airport vending machine. I bought it, drank some, and immediately felt better, "restored." Turns out, it has a greater variety of electrolytes in it, compared to what I had been drinking. It tastes better, too. It does have sugar in it, which I prefer to artificial sweeteners (won't drink); however, the amount of sugar in the formula is less than most breakfast cereals.

So glad they came out with this! Something we can always have in our pantry. I grew up drinking Gatorade anytime I was sick and having a daughter of my own now, whenever she is sick and doesn't want to drink a lot of liquids, I mix a bit of this in her water and can adjust the amount! That's the best part. Adjusting the amount so even if I just want to add a hint of flavor to my daughters water, she loves it! Gets her to drink more water and even my husband uses it every now and then to fill up his water bottle for work! Easy stored container and easily able to take on the go vs a bunch of Gatorade bottles!

Once upon a time Gatorade rules the sports sphere

Watered down from a few years ago. All of the larger containers that saved money and the Earth from all of this plastic stopped being produced in order to prioritize these that make them more money. From there, they went ahead and raised the price. In the last year alone it has gone up over $2.00 from where it was. Meanwhile the original gallons were $3.99 at one time. 128 Fl Oz. for $3.99. Then $4.99. Then $5.99. Then they were gone. All in the last 2 years total. This is blatant, anti consumer, pro-greed level moves they are pulling at PepsiCo. Seems the drivers are OK with it as they are making more money on their routes.All that aside, it's a slightly watered down version of their trademark drink thirst quencher with electrolytes, Gatorade.

This is MUCH Better Than Other Choices

I put on bike rides for a living, and for years that meant filling up a big 10-gallon barrel of water and mixing sports drink in it. (Gatorade, Powerade, Nuun...) This created all sorts of problems -- the barrels were a pain to transport, needed careful cleaning, it could be hard to get the powdered drink mix to dissolve properly, and we always had too much sports drink or not enough... (Using individual bottles of Gatorade like you buy in the store was out of the question -- expensive, heavy to transport, and a huge amount of plastic waste that can be hard to recycle when we're on the road.)This is tremendously easier. We bought the optional B004RGXG3Q hand pump (sort of like the pump you see on top of the mustard dispenser at the ball park). We just put it out with our other snack stop supplies, where it doesn't take up much space (especially compared to those 10-gallon orange barrels!) Our cyclists pump a squirt or two into their bottles and fill with water. At the end of the day we take out the hand pump and put the cap back on the gallon jug. No waste.I'm no scientist, so I won't argue whether Gatorade is THE best sports drink, but it IS a name brand, which I think my cycling customers appreciate.
