I purchased this battery powered mower as i have a fairly small garden and already had a battery powered strimmer.Its lucky i had the strimmer and a second battery as the battery doesnt stay charged long enough to cut the garden so we have to use the second charger.I purchased this towards the end of summer 2023 thinking it would be ideal along with the strimmer to keep the garden tidy.Overall its pretty flimsy and in the 2nd use if the summer the plastic handle for adjusting the blade height broke off, making it very difficult to cut the crash. I have had to resort to wedging a bar into it to try and keep the blade up, with limited success.AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Click and collect from Wickes is super quick! Unboxed and setup the mower in and 15 minutes. Placed the battery on charge for an hour. Took it out for a spin with some pretty tall grass, battery was dead in 20 minutes due to working so hard on the tough grass. We had to charge again to finish off the last of the 20ftx40ft lawn. Have since used it two weeks later with a lot less height on the grass and it managed it with ease. Pretty chuffed with its performance and no cables, win!!!

The reason that I bought a battery mower are multi-fold. Firstly, age, I will be a pensioner this month. Second, dodgy leg, which makes getting my old heavy petrol mower hard to manage as it very heavy. Easy to assemble the arms. Battery not so easy to slot in. It is a lightweight machine, which had me a little worried that it would not be powerful enough. On its first outing, (without charging the battery), it coped well with the long grass from over winter. The grass was a little wet from all of the recent rain and it just powered through it all. Overall it gets five stars from me.

Really pleased with this. Easy to assemble, light to carry and cuts beautifully. The grass had grown really long (so much rain lately, there had been no opportunity to cut it) and it scythed through it effortlessly. The lawn (which is far from smooth) has never looked this good. And battery life was fine - all done on one charge. Excellent value for money.
Initial response to my cordless Einhell is.Im impressed , so far! My Lawn area ( and I use the term Lawn loosely!) Is uneven and a neglected bit of greenery. Its full of moss, weeds ,old tree roots and general scrubThis little machine has helped turn my scrubland into a promising real lawn. The battery has lasted well. Charged easily . Covering all the area with veritable ease. Mower is lightweight , stores easily and doesnt sound like a hairdryer. Brilliant.
It was a little heavier than expected, but then I was used to a small flymo. It actualy collects, and empties the grass very well. The battery level dropping from 3 to 2 lights on my first mow, my lawn is probably about 20 sq M. Though its very irregular in shape, so not a quick up and down. I like hiw ut folds down with the release of two flip action levers. Assembly bit fiddly, more clumsy but nothing to fear. I find the no2 setting gives a nice lush finish. My first cut though was a number 3 as my grass had grown a bit due initially my old mower blowing up and tgen a run of bad weather, (thats what I based the battery lights on). In fact I can push it with one finger round the handle. The grass box holds plenty of cuttings and is easy to take out of the mower and put back in. It has 4 cutting lengths from 65mm down to 25mm. Great for when you do your first cut of the grass in the Spring. The battery lasts long enough to cut the grass of my back garden and the front gardens of mine and the next door neighbour's. It is also straght forward to clean after use. Didn't realise how much of a nuisance a cable was until i didn't have one to deal with!One point in particular which i find most helpful is the fact that the battery charge indicators are led lights and the sequence is easy to read as the lights flash when battery is empty. Bought this just over 1 month ago. Got to use it just the once and then we had the bad weather so it's sat for the past month unused. Got it out today and from what I can gather the battery is faulty. Kept cutting out every 5 seconds so I put the battery back on charge incase it had drained from the last time it was charged. And I've got a red and green light showing at the same time which means it's in fault mode and keeps cutting out because of an overheating issue.It was a bit of a mixed bag with regards to the reviews so thought I'd give it a go and find out for myself. Wish I hadn't bothered now.I would not recommend this product
I am very pleased with this purchase; I used it the first time this afternoon. It is a wonderful lawnmower, very easy to use, quiet and powerful with a large grass-collection attachment that lets you know when it is full. I am so pleased with it that I am seriously considering buying an additional cutting blade and battery so as to be able to keep it going for years-and-years. It is so much better than my previous cordless lawnmower which had lead-acid batteries.
