An exceptional product. Accurate both against a known torque wrench and repeats well from bolt to bolt. The 120 tooth gear really makes it nice getting into tight spaces. The setting mechanism works very well and the scale is super easy to read when setting the torque value, plus the setting does NOT creep like many I have owned tended to do. The ONLY downfall I can find with the wrench is that it is rather pricey . . . . . . . . but in this case you get what you pay for!

Bought this wrench to torque the nuts on the transmission pan after I changed the oil. It took 3 weeks to get, not a huge deal but once I opened the box, there were finger print smudges all over it and dings in the base. My guess is someone used it and returned it. I’m irritated of paying full price for a used wrench. Beware.

Well haven't got to use it yet but I have read the instructions and all the features and have at least turned it on. It's a great buy vs the tool truck models and does everything that the "Strap On" model does but is metal vs that rubber bullshxt that breaks down with oil and other petroleum products. Highly recommend

I use it for precision timing belt jobs where proper torque is a must. I like that it has a compact profile, and a protective carrying case lined with thick foam. What really got me to buy this particular torque wrench is that after buying several of the common 1/4 In designs out there, I noticed they were all very similarly built. Probably In the same factory with different brands stamped after assembly. I will not mention any names but, (starts with a T ends with ekton) are the most overhyped, over-marketed 1/4in torque wrenches. I returned it immediately after I saw how squeaks/rattles reflected their poor workmanship. I'm really happy with this Gearwrench!
I'm thoroughly impressed, as I have been with just about all of the Gearwrench products that I've purchased. It's an attractive, and useful tool, with a great torque range. I'll, more than likely, complete the set.
This is amazing. Not too expensive too. Real accurate when tested here.
Great 1/2 inch drive torques wrench. Great for the larger jobs that need higher torqueing Great price. Would recommend this product.
Nice torque wrench, I used it when reinstalling my rear end and had to torque the suspension bolts. I like the knurling on the handle and the fact that you pull down to adjust it and it stays in adjustment and doesn't come lose like cheaper wrenches. The 3 degree arc is nice for tight spots and i like the case and the nice form fitting foam to protect it. The adjustment scale is easy to read and adjust as well. I own several other gearwrench tools and sets and have other 120xp ratchet sets and they are great. I liked it so much i bought both the 3/8 and 1/4 120xp torque wrenches to complete the set.
So damn smooth. Handle and head, accuracy is that of two other bigger brand names
This is a pretty looking micrometer torque wrench. Nice colors and knurling. The 120xp drive, with it's 3° swing arc, although not a necessity in a torque wrench, can be surprisingly useful. The case that comes with it is nice and there is a printout of the factory calibration checks. After using it a handful of times in a day, it "felt" out of calibration. I checked the torque wrench against two high accuracy digital torque adapters, and the torque values it was achieving were lower than specification, throughout its range. Furthermore, the readings were not consistent and were all over the place. If the readings had been out of spec but consistent, I would have considered calibrating it myself. Unfortunately, I decided it had to be sent back. I did not want a replacement as this was my last straw with spring loaded manual torque wrenches. I have moved on to split beams for now, until they piss me off. Ultimately, a digital torque wrench may be the most accurate and reliable, although expensive. I do prefer feeling the click than looking at LEDs and hearing beeps, however. Additionally, similar to gearwrench ratchets I've bought, there were some quality control issues. There were quite a bit of small scratches, fingerprints, and grease.
