After losing my tool truck 1/4 In ratchet which cost me around $100, I decided to give this a try. I was not disappointed one bit. Looks and feels premium, has smooth and low arc movement. Ended up buying the other 2 drive size ratchets just because of the value. You won't be disappointed!

The ratcheting mechanism pretty smooth, no "switch lock-up" issues with this ratchet as what I've encountered with the 3/8 stubby flex ratchet, seems pretty similar to my dual 80 snap on's. Of course, it's not a sealed head, so regular maintenance will be a necessity, but I enjoy my tools, so no issues there. In fact, I added a tad of grease to the mechanism to make it even smoother, and sure enough, it's smooth as butter. I had done some research, and watched a video comparing ratchets and Gearwrench rated very high. Found a good deal on Ebay for a wrench that I knew was good quality.

Gearwrench is the new household name in tools similar to craftsman of years past. But these are of a higher quality.
I purchased this ratchet because my craftsman ratchet became stripped. I chose this ratchet because of the number of teeth and the rate of rotation with minimal handle Movement. This ratchet works amazing and tight spaces. I will be buying additional sizes to add to my toolbox. Super convenient.
I think 90 teeth is perfect for this 1/4 inch ratchet. Have only used it once so far on a mower, and is my first 1/4 inch ratchet. Have always used 3/8 with adapter. I removed snap ring to lube it, and found it had a proper amount of what seems to be a heavy oil on all moving parts. It's well made!
My son works in an automotive shop, he said its a good tool to have, easy to get into tight spots with the flex head. He said a rubber handle would she nice but hes going to rubber coat it so it has grip with oily hands. Great price for the tool
Professional technician and I use this thing all the time, every day. (1/4" flex head extended length). I've owned it 4 years now and did rebuild it once, but the rebuilt kit was free because of the warranty
Seriously the soft handle was chewed & marred to bits but still functional. I kept it because the length of the ratchet is just what I need and that counts the most. Not nearly the same quality as Snap On.
Super thin head, smooth ratcheting, reversing switch has very pronounced engagemant and is flush with head. Only concern is the amount of back drag but i believe this will decrease with use. I have used several high end ratchets and this is the best feeling "consumer grade" ratchet that I have ever used. For those that are curious about the country of origin these 90T models are made in Taiwan. Would not hesitate to buy again.
