This inverter generator is to go into a truck where weight is critical, so 12kg is ideal. It is also able to be carried easily by hand. The generator is able to raise a roller door during a black out, so equipment is safe.

This is a great Generator. I have tested this, and it will run a TV 70w an industrial fan 200w and a vacuum cleaner 1600w altogether. 1870w no worries. I am currently using this to power a 40ft bus and it works a treat. Very Happy with it.

Appears excellent value for money and it’s Australian made however, no power cuts during recent storms so it has not been tested in anger.It would be helpful if Kogan selectively sought realistic reviews on items they know are used routinely. Camping or back-up inverter generators are not one of those products.
Great little generator. It runs a modern household 2 door fridge/freezer, a 55" LCD TV, my 15.6" laptop, ADSL modem and 2 x 15W fluorescent lights all at the same time in economy mode. Can't complain about that. If you want to run a 60W fan in addition to these, then you must switch off the economy mode. There are some other 2000W peak / 1700W rated generators out there, but they have smaller motors (so they must work harder & power fluctuations are more likely) & smaller oil sumps (so there is less oil to lubricate everything). I'm a very happy vegemite.
Everything works as advertised! The only hick-up is that it is a little on the noisy side in a residential area.
Runs caravan air conditioner effortlessly, returns to economy mode when load drops, all good.
Good item. Used little fuel to power my 90 litre portable fridge freezer. Wasnt too audible as the sound of the ocean waves virtually drowned it out. All and all, its a good product all round.
Was pretty easy to set up and start. A bit noisy compared to Yamaha or Honda, but this is a fraction of the price. Liked the cover. Not too heavy to move. A useful bit of kit at a good price.
