Really happy with this jacket. Unlined and can be worn in warmer months. Construction feels solid and I will probably never put it through real work but it feels like it could handle it!

This jacket is really lux. The blue is a bright cobalt and the fabric is super structured but also super smooth… making it look expensive and lux. So happy with this purchase.

Nicely made jacket. Good quality fabric. However not made in France. Designed in France and made in Romania. Not made in France as claimed on the product description page.

I am very much enjoying this jacket. I can wear it for casual work days and when I am off the clock. It is very well made and it arrived quickly. Thank you!
This piece has been on my wish list for a long while now. Purchased as a birthday gift to myself. The material is weighty without being too heavy. The color is rich and true to the picture. My only ask, as a bigger human, is that the larger sizes be available for purchase. I got size 52 and it fits, just... Size 54 or 56 would be better for me. (5'11", 235lbs)However, I'm very happy to be able to wear this snug version of an iconic jacket.
I’d been eyeing this jacket for months and finally bought it. It’s nice, but at nearly $300 I was not expecting buttons to fall off already. Arrived March 21, buttons falling off as I’m putting it on to go to work this morning (25th). After inspecting the rest of the buttons they feel cheap and not sewn on well. I’ll have to work on the buttons myself - which at this price point you shouldn’t have to do within 4 days of ownership.
I really like this coat. Like others, I have been eyeing this for a long time and finally pulled the trigger with the weather starting to turn. The color is really vibrant and the material feels like it will break in nicely over time.I agree with a couple of things other reviews have noted:1) If you have large arms or shoulders you may have to size up. I'm 6'2" and 205 with average arms. Size 48 is fine with a shirt and light sweater. Any more layering, you'll want to size up. Also if you plan on doing actual chores or work in this work jacket, I'd say size up for mobility purposes (but maybe as it breaks in it won't be much of an issue).2) I also had issues with buttons being loose or unthreading right out of the bag. They were the sleeve buttons. I was able to ... MoreI really like this coat. Like others, I have been eyeing this for a long time and finally pulled the trigger with the weather starting to turn. They were the sleeve buttons. I was able to secure them relatively quickly, but it was annoying. The front buttons seem fine but I do take care when buttoning and unbuttoning just in case. Might be another reason to size up if you think you're in between sizes.3) It doesn't matter to me, but it might to some so I'll mention it. The product label says Made in Portugal. Pretty sure Sunspel and other luxury Western European brands do something along the same lines. The materials are made in the home country (like the canvas for this jacket is made in France) but put together in another.Hopefully this hasn't come off as too negative. I gave it 4 stars based on the look and feel of the jacket, with one star taken off because of the buttons. I could have exchanged for a larger size given Huckberry's generous return policy but decided to stay where I was at. It may seem a bit pricey, but if you've had your eyes on this and have the means to treat yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed overall and will enjoy wearing it three seasons out of the year.
My favorite recent purchase. French blue color and moleskin fabric are perfect for this type of casual workwear jacket. Was worried about fit, but it ended up being spot on. Went with a size 44 since the listed measurements seemed to align more with other jackets that I own. I'm 5'9" with a 36" chest, and size 44 fit perfectly in chest, shoulders, sleeves, and length. Size 46 (true to size) and 48 ("Le Mont St Michel has a slim fit, we recommend taking one size up from your usual US size in jackets") would have been way too big
Lovely jacket and I really wanted it to work. I ordered two different sizes but to no avail. I’m tall and thin and could not get the right fit - if the body fit I couldn’t move my arms, and if it fit across the shoulders there was acres around the middle. For a shorter person with a narrower build this would be great - the coats itself is very nice- a real collectors item. Oh well, worth a try!
Higher quality and thicker than expected. Some reviews mention being able to get similar quality for cheaper, but I haven't found that to be the case. I've tried on chore coats from $70-$400 range and this one is my favorite. Ordered the blue and it's great in person. Probably my most complemented jacket.Fit: I'm 5'10 and 170 lbs. I ordered the 46 and 48 (Huckberry has 46 listed as medium, 48 as large. The Le Mont St. Michel site recommended me a 48 based on my height and weight). I kept the 46 which was a perfect fit. Can maybe layer a hoodie underneath but the arms are where it might get tight with too many layers. I'm not buying this jacket to layer a bunch in the cold though so this sizing was perfect.
