Geo. F. Trumper Coconut Oil Shaving Cream 200g

I found my new shaving experience to be everything I'd hoped for.Trying shaving cream instead of soap was a good move for me. The badger brush does a very nice job on my beard. The razor (mach III injectror type) works well but I was a little dissapointed in the materials. Very light "plastic" handle. Was hoping, for the money, it might be a little heavier, more substantial.

First time using the coconut shaving cream and we've only been using it for about a week now. No brush, so we've been lathering it with our hands. We purchased it to go along with two new safety razors, one for me (legs, armpits etc) one for my boyfriend (face).Overall it makes for a great experience, super lathery, smooth and the scent is nice and light. The only issue both of us have had, which may actually be the reason I choose not to re-purchase, is that there's a residue that's left on the skin. I've tried washing with soap after and toweling (really aggressively) and my skin feels 'rubbery' afterward no matter what. It goes away eventually but is very noticeable after shaving.

I love all of G.F.T. Shaving creams, and decided to try this one. I personally don’t smell much of a coconut scent. However, great lather, creamy and good cushion for a great shave.

A good quality cream just let down by the lack of decent lathering

Lather: 7.5 Ok to lather but not great. Did take a fair amount of cream and a bit of water to get an adequate amount of lather. Lather turned out to be rich and thick but started drying out quite early on and thinned out a but by the third pass. Shave: 7.5. Good standard shave with this cream. Nothing really to report apart from the initial drying out. Razor clog. 8.0 Very easy to rinse off razor while shaving. Better than most. Aftershave moisturisation: 9. I've tried many shaving creams over the years in all price ranges including brands far more expensive than Trumpers. This is the best shaving cream that I have ever bought. A delight to use, easy to lather, great razor glide and leaves skin comfortable afterwards. I couldn't want for more. A great price from Mankind and the usual reliable and prompt delivery.

After trying a few soaps and creams, without finding the right fit, after doing some on-line research I came across the some recommendations for this cream. They raved about the pleasant but not overpowering smell, and the ease of this cream to load with water and to work into a great lather. I have to say I agree with them. The aroma is great, slightly tropical (which is nice this time of year), it holds water incredibly well, and produces a very cushy yet stable lather. Not to mention that because it loads and lathers so well, you get great mileage from a tub, since you only need dab! I'm all for experimenting and trying new products, but this cream makes it hard for me to want to try anything else!

This was my first attempt at shaving cream instead of the soap. I have to say that I prefer the cream over the soap for a couple of reasons. The first is that I was able to whip up lather in half the time that it took with the soap. The second is that the lather is richer and thicker than the latter; this is important to me because I have very coarse curly hair and very sensitive skin. This cream plus skin food gives me a wonderful shave. Highly recommended!

Great smell, lather, smooth and slick.

This is a great cream. Scent of coconut is subtle, from the coconut oil not from an added fragrance. Thick rich lather. Very slick, but moisturizing at the same time, leaves skin feeling really nice, refreshed and with a subtle hint of coconut from the oil that is just on the edge of awareness that outlast the G F Trumper skin food lime. This is my new favorite. I will definitely have a tub of this always in my rotation.

the best shaving I have ever used.

In the past I have been one of puppets who fell into the trap of mass produced shave creams. You know, the ones that dry up ones face. That was until I tried Geo Trumpers from the good folks at Kent of Inglewood. The staff....awesome. The shaving cream....amazing. Won't go back to the store garbage.
