I had an audi dealer technician install it. statted receiving check engine lights. my car was shaking in idle. then would also shut off mid drive. I had it removed ,coes cleared and statted running as normal again. I tried returning it, and they told me "try adjusting it", "read the troubleshooting guide". what a joke of customer service. you'll find on youtube that hundreds of people had the same issue with the part.

had the "standard" DV+ on k04 mk6 GTI for years -- GREAT product!!!! moved on to a b8.5 allroad with e895 stage 1 -- and bought the "stack" VTA model this time -- took a while to get it mounted and operating correctly due to the location on the audi 2.0 TFSI (and large hands and fingers :p ) - but once it was dialed in .....WOW. The quality of this item is spectacular, very easy to install, though I ran into an issue with clearance. Due to the height of the VTA when attached to the factory DV body, my turbo inlet pipe would not lock into place. While I was able to install it, the fit was way too snug and the turbo inlet pipe never locked into the appropriate place, I actually broke the arm on the inlet pipe trying to get it into place. I would recommend this for another car, but not for the MK7 GTI. I will say that ECS handled my return incredibly well, customer service was on point. Gonna try the Turbo Smart BOV instead.
