I am a big fan of GHD products and am the very happy owner of a pair of straighteners and the glide brush (amazing product) however I am useless at using my straightener to curl my hair so about 18/12 I bout the GHD wand - again I didn’t have much look with it and it lies in my drawer unused . My hubby really likes my hair curly so 2 weeks ago I splashed out on the volumising hot brush gift set. Again I couldn’t get it to achieve good results despite using GHD curling spray and watching videos- so again after 2 uses this now sits in my drawer. These products have great reviews so I can only assume it’s user error- so I am going back to traditional curling tongues - unfortunately I can’t afford to fork out on a GHD pair so it will be a cheaper brand

I like this tool, but shortly after purchase, the "cool" tip on the end came apart from the barrel and could not be re-attached because the inner clips were all melted off. I am going through the process of replacement through GHD direct, but with Australia Post delays coming up to Christmas, I am doubtful I will receive my replacement any time soon. Bit disappointing to have the quality of something with quite a high price point be so bad.

After purchasing numerous hair tools that don’t do what they say on the tin (including other Ghds) I am chuffed that my relentless passion for wasting money on hair products in hope that one tool will perform as described has finally paid off! Finally a product that makes your hair look great both 5 minutes after styling and at the end of the day too! No money wasted on this product! HUGE thumbs up

Initially I was very happy with the product but the more I use it, it causes lots of static in my hair. I think the problem is it gets to hot. Also I find it difficult to get it as clean as I would like it. I would have returned it if I had realised sooner!
My 60+ yo hair has tended to be a bit chaotic lately. It is hard to get it to hold any style and it is a bit wispy. This Hot Brush has worked miracles. My hair now looks neatly groomed. It is so easy to use. It heats up in 25 seconds and I can completely style my hair in less than 2 minutes. I absolutely love my GHD Hot Brush.
Really can’t fault the results. It’s the most superior ‘wand’ I’ve ever used. Being able to brush through the sections and smooth the hair before curling is just genius. The curls don’t drop either, there’s no need for setting spray and my hair is straight!
I purchased my GHD RISE Volumising 6 weeks ago . Righe start right from the start I found the styling easy and just what I needed to manage my shorter hairstyle. I am able to curl, flick up or under or even straighten my hair, all with damaging my hair. Great for next day style in a hurry for work or glam up for events.
I absolutely thought that this is a hot air brush. It isn’t. I wanted some dupe for the dyson airwrap, but it’s basically the same as a curling iron.. which I bought separately…If I knew it’s not a hot air brush, I wouldn’t have bought it.
I wasn’t sure if I needed another expensive hair tool as I was quite happy with the ghd straightner for the last decade… but my god… I love a bouncy blow dry and this is the answer…it’s like a smooth bouncy blow dry without the effort and leaves my hair softy and silky until my next wash!! Seriously this is the dream hot brush… I love it! Only thing I think it needs is one of those spiky things you find in round brushes to clean the hair off as it wraps around but not a big deal at all but I did think that!
So I bought this when I heard that it was good for volume. I have very fine hair which sits flat on my head - so I thought I'd give this a go. I'm glad I did as it really is a great product for making my hair look styled in a short amount of time. I like the heatproof pouch too which I keep it in. Very happy and would reccomend.
