I'm sensitive to animal proteins, but all the vegan options I tried in the past were so unbearably gross that I willingly chose whey and other stuff that gave me stomach pain and breakouts. This is by far the best vegan protein powder out of the dozens I tried. I usually do 2 scoops with water to make a pretty thick drink and it's easy to shake up, with no clumping, no separation, and little to no chalky texture. The only downside for me is that it is extremely(!!!) sweet - the Chocolate Cereal Milk flavor at least - and I find it hard to drink the whole thing sometimes. It doesn't have the artificial sweetener after taste though. If you like your protein tasting like a dessert this is your thing for sure.

Chocolate cereal milk and pancake batter are my absolute favourites. I’ve repurchased them multiple times. Chocolate cereal milk is my fav in smoothies, but absolutely love them even with just dairy-free milk! I’ve tried a many vegan proteins, but always go back to this. Great flavour, and not gritty, but maybe I’ve had it for so long that I don’t notice x) a must try for sure though if you’re on the hunt for a new vegan protein, whether you’re vegan or can’t tolerate whey :)

The amount of vegan protein powders I have cycled through is ridiculous. WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS SOONER? My stomach feels great on this, no bloating, no cramping, no nothing. This tastes amazing! No grit, mixes so well, the chocolate flavor is light but creamy, and it's a great base if you like to add things to your shakes. Makes GREAT pudding!!!!! My only complaint is that this tub is not big enough. Really looking forward to more flavors.

It doesn’t taste like peanut butter really, but that doesn’t stop me from loving it. It’s like a slightly nutty milk flavor. It’s honestly really good. It mixes super well in a blender bottle, but I can only imagine how great it would come out in a blender. So far, I’ve only used it with water. The texture is great and adjusting the thickness is simple to do: just add more water to make it thinner or more powder/less water if you want it thick. I can’t wait to try it with almond or oat milk. Also do yourself a favor and try it with cinnamon. It’s BUSSIN. I want to try more flavors, but I’m kind of addicted to this one with the cinnamon added in. I use unsweetened roasted cinnamon powder. It’s a great way to get protein in and it doesn’t make me feel sick like whey ... MoreIt doesn’t taste like peanut butter really, but that doesn’t stop me from loving it. It’s nice to not have to dig through my protein just to find the scoop lol. It’s become a regular staple in my life, and I enjoy having it throughout my day.
My personal favorite vegan protein by far. Great mixability which is always key. Most importantly there is no chalky flavor like most vegan proteins. I feel it’s best mixed with almond milk but right after a work out I always mix with water and it still tastes amazing and not completely watered down. Highly recommended!!
First and foremost - if anyone says these TASTE better than your typical well flavour whey - they are shills (probably "IG Influencers" who either never do anything with a shirt on or every camera angle included a shot of their butt using angles that would make a proctologist blush). Both Pancake Batter and Peanut Butter are great tasting with Peanut Butter being my favourite. The pancake batter is a little more subdued vs peanut butter. In smoothies they are great, but most Vegan proteins do fairly well in smoothies. It's when taken by themselves or mixed in oats where you'll say, "yup, this is a vegan protein." You will not get away from the graininess - it's part of the deal when you do the plant based dance. However, these are pretty decent when compared to the ... MoreFirst and foremost - if anyone says these TASTE better than your typical well flavour whey - they are shills (probably "IG Influencers" who either never do anything with a shirt on or every camera angle included a shot of their butt using angles that would make a proctologist blush). Both Pancake Batter and Peanut Butter are great tasting with Peanut Butter being my favourite. However, these are pretty decent when compared to the sand I've drank from other companies. I prefer almond or coconut milk, but I have drank it in just plain water and I'm still alive to write this review. The peanut butter mixes well with steel cut oats and a little bit of almond butter. TIP: add a little more water to the mix so it doesn't have the consistency of paper mache. It's also pretty decent as protein sludge. It's a tad more expensive than other brands (probably to pay the marketing team - there's a lot of effort on the tub to make this protein "sexy"), but for something I can drink without crying it's worth it.Thanks Bulldog Nutrition for being the only place I can get this.
It’s delicious!!! This is one of the best vegan protein powders I’ve had. It’s not chalky at all. I freeze coffee and vegan yogurt in ice cube trays. Throw a few espresso cubes/yogurt/protein powder/ teaspoon cocoa powder and vanilla in a blender….. you will have the best morning protein shake ever! If you’re feeling crazy, throw some peanut butter in there as well
I bought this product because Ghost is just so hyped up on every platform and I am going to share with you all the reasons why it sucks.1) Protein content is low but I figured it would make up for it with flavor, boy was I wrong.2) Flavor super mid, accurate tho because it tastes like raw pancake batter, kinda flour and a little tiny bit of flavor.3) gritty texture never really mixes smooth, often a problem for vegan protein but I've never had one this bad.4) The tub is just way too f#$king big. I am a vegan to help the environment and you're gunna sell me a product that wastes this much plastic?5) I am 6'1 210 pounds lean, this is not a review from some skinny vegan who doesn't know what he's talking about, go buy VegaSport protein powder, 10g more protein, ... MoreI bought this product because Ghost is just so hyped up on every platform and I am going to share with you all the reasons why it sucks.1) Protein content is low but I figured it would make up for it with flavor, boy was I wrong.2) Flavor super mid, accurate tho because it tastes like raw pancake batter, kinda flour and a little tiny bit of flavor.3) gritty texture never really mixes smooth, often a problem for vegan protein but I've never had one this bad.4) The tub is just way too f#$king big. Short Version: Tastes great with water, mixes well, slight grittiness, pretty clean, no artificial taste to it.So I recently found out I can't have dairy, wheat, rice, almonds, or peanuts among other foods, which has made finding a fairly clean protein powder pretty difficult. However, before I discovered this (thanks a lot allergy clinic), I LOVED Ghost's whey protein. When I found out they were coming out with a vegan protein powder that didn't use rice, almonds, or peanuts (pancake flavor only), I was psyched! I bought it today and just tried it with 8 oz of cold water in a shaker bottle. It actually tastes like pancake batter!! I love that GNC has a 30 day return policy and price matching, which makes it great to try products you aren't sure about. Out of the vegan protein powders I have tried (and even some of the whey proteins) this one is pretty darn good. It is a bit gritty, but mixes well. It doesn't taste artificial or chemically in any way. While it isn't a "dessert" protein powder (you know what I mean), it actually tastes like pancake batter and fills you up with a pretty clean protein that mixes well with water. Definitely one of the best vegan proteins I have had. Absolutely one of the best brands of products over all that I have tried with regard to taste and price. 10/10 recommend.
When I am really hitting the weights hard and actively trying to make gains, protein powder is essential for me. However, my stomach tends to be sensitive to whey, so vegan-based protein is normally where I turn when I want to put down a few shakes a day.I can say categorically this is the best vegan protein I've ever had. The taste of the peanut butter cereal milk is delicious - better than most whey I've tried, actually - and it blends really well compared to most other vegan proteins, which can get stubborn in those blender bottles.I am giving five stars because this is a quality product, HOWEVER I really wish GMC would stock this in their stores, instead of having an online purchase being the only option. I tried to hunt this down in three local GNC stores, which didn't carry it but had shelves upon shelves of the Ghost whey, before being told by one of the managers that the Ghost vegan was actively being kept out of stores and sold exclusively online to "test the market". There are plenty of lifters who prefer vegan protein, and it can't be that difficult to carry a small inventory of this in store, especially considering that Ghost is a pretty popular supplement brand.
