Very easy to install, but worth following instructions. The 50cm width was exactly the width of my door panels, making cutting segments much easier. Took me about 4-5 hours to do it all myself, including cleaning the garage door prior to cutting segments to size and installing. Very impressed how the garage temperatures fluctuate much more mildly now. Much cooler in summer and will be warmer in winter. Very good product.

My double garage panel door face dead west and therefore gets extremely hot during summer at the end of the day. Now coming home from work with two hot cars dosen't help but after studying a littleI discovered majority of heat in the garage is radiant heat and its crazy. I run two solar inverters and fridges in the garage so heat on a 45 celsius day can reach extremes. Now still gets warm but no where near seeing radiant heat has basically been removed. Now i need to convince wifey to leave hot vehicle outside until night and maybe introduce a fan to blow air heat to rear door on a timer. Heat has been reduced significantly since insulation installed by atleast half if not more. Some extra weight has been added to door which you will notice by reduced speed. My ... Decent product with bad side effect.Installed several months ago, ok. Two days ago the Gliderol door opener motor and track components failed and the runner cogs had stripped and bar bent.Garage technician attended and said the motor opener should have been re-calibrated to accommodate the weight of the insulation and over a period of time it failed.Yes, he said it's under 10 kilograms and would still cause this. Why isn't this possibility mentioned anywhere. Upgraded to a more powerful motor and track, $$!

I ordered this online as a special order a few weeks ago. It's the perfect width for panel garage doors. Only had to cut to length , then slide into place. Perfect length for double garage door. It has already made a huge difference in keeping the garage cool. Highly recommended.
Removed 95% of heat from the carport. Carport faces north and panel lift garage door soaked up all the sun. Could not hold your hand on door when uninsulated. After I installed you can hold your hand on insulation and just feel small amount of heat. Bought this insulation as it’s not foam insulation (not highly flammable) and works great! Get 2 tubes of silicone and 30m of double sided tape, took 3hrs by myself and totally worth it. Carport is now very cool especially when days are over 40degrees.
Was easy to install, took maybe two and a bit hours on a standard panel door. Has reduced the heat and provided a fair amount of sound deadening, and the reflective surface lightens up the garage a bit.
My panel garage door faces west and gets pummeled by the sun, and during summer the garage stays unbearably hot into the evening. After I installed the insulation in each panel, you can put your face 15cm away from the inside of the garage door and cant feel any radiating heat. The garage is profoundly cooler. The installation is quite straight forward. You need some silicon and double sided tape. I accidentally cut some pieces too short (twice!) but there was more than enough to spare to cover each section properly.
I bought this a few months ago and installed it on my Garage door. My garage door faces the West side (sun set) so receives the full blast of the afternoon sun. I measured the temperature of the garage door before and after (using a Bosch temp laser gun) and the temperature of the inside surface of the door went from about 55 degrees C to 35 degrees C.Extremely easy to install as mentioned, works REALLY well. Would 100% recommend as since installing, the inside ambient temp of my garage has also dropped significantly.
Got this a month or so ago. Had a few hot days before winter set in and can say it defiantly helped with the direct morning sun. The inside of my garage would nearly burn skin, but once installed only a slight warmth made it through.The garage is cooler and easily more comfortable throughout the day (note: our garage only gets morning sun). Keen to see how it stands up in Summer.The garage is also slightly warmer in the colder mornings which is a small side win.Overall, although it is a bit pricey if your looking to take away the bite of direct sun, and lower the temp of the garage throughout the day I think it's a fairly good option.
Affixed to my panel lift garage door with double sided tape and liquid nails as per the instructions. Doing one row at a time you could definitely feel the radiated heat difference when you stood close to a side you had done compared to a side you hadn’t, massive difference in reducing radiated heat, would recommend. Takes a bit of time and cutting to fit to your size panel though
