Giantz 100 L ATV Weed Sprayer Spot Spray Tank

Good quality molded unit with quality hand spray unit. It went together easily enough despite the instructions being a little small and vague.I’ve used it already, and found the boom to be awesome and the hand wand even better.A couple of considerations to improve the overall quality of this item.1: a 45 degree angle on the hand wand would be awesome2: the boom cross bar can not be positioned quite low to the ground, due to the shape of the tank so I extended it outwardly with a couple of blocks of timber then attached the boom to “my” right height3: the supply of a couple of split pins for the retention of the wheel nuts would be great.With those minor items taken care of, I just love the machineGreat value for money

Cheap ATV Boomspray

Item arrived in two seperate shipments Trolley first Although manufactured using fairly thin SHS for frame construction the welds were of sufficient strength to support the tank. The 1500mm boom is supplied with 4 spray jets sufficient to cover most close spraying I.e. Large Turf area Trolley was totally bits and pieces, fairly self evident to assemble but the exploded view of the actual boom assembly took a very close inspection and could have had an Inset diagram to assist. The Second day brought forward the Tank, hand lance, pump and hoses. The Tank supplied would not allow the boom to sit at the recommended 500mm for turf spraying due to length interference. Will have to offset the boom out the rear by 75mm standoffs to seat correctly. For my usage the hand lance could be totally connected by some sort of quick connect device rather than being hard connected at the stop cock. My biggest worry turned out to be the missing power cord as my initial need to spray excessive medics in my turf became urgent. The connector on the pump is somewhat unique and I will have to Jerry rig a connection All and all I would rate the speed of deliver as 7 Quality of Supplied goods 9 Mechanical fitout 8 Instructions 5 Price 10

Does the job but could be improved see above ideas.

As the base of the storage container is flat, when you are driving on hills or slopes with a low fluid level the fluid moves to one side and is therefore not picked up by the motor and transferred to the sprays. Perhaps a well in the middle of the storage container would improve the overall design. Some sort of upright pole support at the front of the machine that keeps the battery leads high up so they don't get caught & break when turning. An option of an on-off pump switch, between after battery connection & the front of the mower would be useful when you need to turn the pump off for a period, could prevent pump burnout.

Excellent unit and value for money

Excellent pressure, motor does not get hot even after continuous spraying 100L of herbicide, excellent spray pattern, very quiet in operation. Cons: only one, the hose to the hand unit (currently 5 metres in length) would be better if it was 10 metres in length.

Good Quality, long hose and non dripping nozel

This is our second tank of similar capacity and capability. We had our first for over 5 years. Hubby reports that this one has a better nozel head and doesnt dribble chemical once its stopped being squeezed. Happy with it so far to manage the weeds around our property. We just have it in the back of our ATV. Our last one the pump blew up and this was cheaper than the cost of a replacement pump. Definitely happy. Owned it a few months now.

Good product so far

Mounted in the back if my UTV with spray boom mounted onto a length of PVC pipe lower than the tank. Fittings and hoses are good with no leaks. Pump has a good flow rate and ample pressure for herbicide use. Hand gun is good quality with adjustable spray. Bought an earlier version 4 years ago and this is much better quality. Pump and pressure valve longevity to be determined. Last one crapped out during warranty period. So let's see.

Good value but needs a little work to make it excellent.

Rating is for value for price. Some things that would improve it considerably.1. Assembly instructions.2. 2 X 78mm long, 16mm ID tube for spacer inside wheels so that wheels can be fitted correctly.3. Needs a convenient hanger for the lance hose when not in use.4.Droplet size on boom sprayer is too small. I am working on a solution for that at present.Trailer is strongly built. Tank and pump seem to be of good quality.

Great product at a fair price

Great spray unit and good value for money. I built a small trailer to go behind my mower to tow it around our 3 acre property and very happy with the results, boom spray assembly worked flawlessly and was very impressed with the quality of the hand gun aswell. Only suggestions to improve the product is an extra couple of metres of hose on the gun and a weight on the suction pickup to keep it on the bottom of the tank, I used a d-shackle. Definitely recommend this product

Great spray unit.

Great unit, works well, fantastic value for the price. An on/off switch on the power lead would be a good addition but probably better to fit one yourself to put it in the appropriate position for the tow unit you're using. The spray boom should be mounted as low as possible (not as pictured) to reduce drift, the nozzles have about 90 degree spray so there's a lot of overlap. The tank could be mounted slightly further forward so the boom can be mounted on the lowest holes on the struts.

Happy with the spray gun. But the boom spray arm Its dose not hold together for long when you are spraying no matter how tight you do it up.
