Giantz 9 Drawer Mechanic Tool Box Storage - Red

Great delivery time. As advertised. Not the most rugged but absolute value for money. O would recommend this product.

You get what you pay for I guess !. For starters in the pic it shows Handles on the side but what I received has No handles. Its flimsy and light duty hence You get what you pay for. I were excited to eventually receive but quickly deflated upon opening by the cheap light duty. flimsy box and have since brought a better toolbox from a local tool shop. This will now be on gifted to my son. The postage was delayed by Aust Post and only moved on after I lodged an investigation as to its whereabouts.

Cheap but ok

Its not bad but the latch didnt even last a day. Seems to have the wrong size nut holding it together and when I tried to fix it I just made it worse. Other than that its not a bad box. It was fairly cheap and I guess you get what you pay for.

Good Box!

I've had this toolbox for a year now and im still loving it, good storage until you start piling up the tools but its great for anyone using basic tools and looking for a nice large box to put them in, a little difficult to cart around if you have to, but that's only a small inconvenience for a nice box. The sliding rails are also still sliding very nicely and smooth, i haven't had to lubricate them

Good value for the price

I need somewhere to store my lathe tooling and drill bits. I came up with the idea of bolting the tool box between the pillars on my lathe stand. Its ideal for the job. I took the lid and handles off. The top is now a storage bin for steel stock.

Needs deeper and longer drawers

I had a nine drawer TTI tool box which had deeper and longer drawers. This box doesn't accommodate all my tools, eg 3/8 drive socket set. It is my fault as I didn't check the diamensions.

Nice workmanship

The paint job alone on this draw is a beauty in blue ! The draws feel right and smooth. Great product very useful for storage.

Review of Giantz Toolbox

The main problem I have with the Toolbox is that the drawers are too shallow. The advertisement on E Bay indicates that the drawers are 4 cm deep but in fact they are only 3 cm deep. This is too shallow for larger tools. For the money the box is OK but it is not a strong box compared to other more expensive ones. I was disappointed when unpacking the box to find the drawers were too shallow.

Tool box ok but let down by sagging top draws.

Unfortunately the top draws sag in the middle (without any tools in them) due to lack of support. These draws actually were resting on the wide draw under them. I had to run a support angle iron bar accross the top to line up the draws.
