I have been using this for few weeks and working great. I only used a small load 150W so I have not stress tested this but I feel the product is good quality.
I have to say this unit is excellent for price. I haven't heard the fans yet, but I've only driven it below 600w Can't fault it for the price. Won't consider the upside down plugs against the unit, but I have scratched a tuff of hair from my scalp, wondering about it. Unit can be switched off, and still charge a device through USB..subltey placed blue light tells you it's on. My setup is using a AGM deep cycle xcell battery
The inverter supplies about 30% of our power needs. Its working fine. The inverter supplies our TV, lighting in the living room recharging of all my power tools and laptops, phones and tablets plus a lot more. It will pay for itself in about 10 weeks.
It works but struggles to run some things that run at under 1000 W. Dont know whether Id recommend.
Good product but needs reset instructions after automatic cut off due to low or high voltage. My unit shut down during battery equalization by the solar panel controller at 15.8v for several minutes. The fault light is now on and the unit will not work.
I have been an auto-electrician for around 10 years now. This inverter would have to be one of the worst I have seen. What you pay for is what you get, and this is perhaps worse than what Ive paid for. The unit constantly ticks, turns on and off, and doesnt support appliances within its purported range.
The unit is attractive and easy to install however does not have enough power to run basic appliances like a small portable camping hair dryer. I would suggest buying a more powerful unit
