This guitar is just a beauty. I found this guitar one day and decided, it was time I got my first les paul; a guitar I would hold onto forever. When I got this guitar shipped to me, and finally played it, it was effortless to play. It is so fun to play. It looks good and sounds good! Buy it!

Saw this at my local guitar center and it is a workhorse. four way push pull system gives it amazing tone variabilities while also having a nice cool satin finish. Plus lightweight for a gibson les paul.

Cute. Cheap. The end of fretboard was NOT GLUED to the neck ! (new out of the box from Gibson) you can see light between the fretboard and neck Around the first fret- you can slide a piece of paper thru the joint- not glued! The worst part is that this passed Gibson inspection and setup, right?
Sound:I like the playability but I'm a metal player. The pickups are good but I love the thin neck and fast playabilityEase of Use:So many options with split on every knobQuality:Gibson made it awesome I love this this guitar. Fast and easy to play with many optionsValue:I would recommend this guitar for beginners or masters of the craft.Manufacturer Support:Never dealt with Gibson but I'm sure they are a great company and stand behind there products. The Wow Factor:The wine red colourOverall:Fast shipping it came double boxed and bubble wrapped in the soft case. All the authentication came in case. It was slightly out of tune but in perfect condition. And intonation after tuning was on. It was set up really nice I would buy again.
Purchased while out of stock so had to wait a few weeks but since it arrived I can’t say how impressed and happy I am with my decision. It looks beautiful, sounds amazing, and playing is a total pleasure. In terms of value for money this cannot be beaten in my view. PMT online team were excellent with all communications and answered my questions without delay.
The 1st one i bought was taken back due to the fretboard being the worst I had ever seen (rough as old boots) ! The second was a lot better but the nut had been way to high (this I sorted because the rest of the guitar was ok)In hindsight I would not had the the 1st replaced and just got my money back, gibson quality is still very hit or miss!
Budget friendly Gibson. No quality issues with mine at all. It has a "stained" matte finish that makes it looks vintage/ish. Mine has Min-eTune which i think is great and it works. '61 Humbucker gives that great Gibson tone you expect. It is only one pickup so it is a one trick pony, but that one trick is pretty impressive.
I bought this in store. It was hanging up and I was intrigued by the new model. As soon as I picked it up I was into it. I actually liked the white finish despite it being matte. What really pushed my purchase was the neck and fretboard. Just an easy fun guitar to pick up and play.
Indeed a superb guitar, came out the box perfect and well set up, though I did change this slightly to suit my playing. What's not to like? Ebony bound fretboard that is a compound radius, the black nickel hardware, the contour around the back, which is genuinely helpful when playing at the higher frets, and the frets were well finished, no sprouting, or sharp edges.Satin finish is superb, I actually prefer this to nitro, can see the grain and the maple cap and I don't miss the body binding. It looks and feels premium.Pickups are a great balance, shaping different tones, vintage rock, higher gain, and clean are all served up here with ease, and the push-pull electronics add a different dimension once you get the feel for what they can do, this is a very ... MoreIndeed a superb guitar, came out the box perfect and well set up, though I did change this slightly to suit my playing. Definitely a gig ready guitar. Nice to see the mother of pearl Gibson inlay as well on a Studio. I added the poker chip, as there was not one in the gig bag. The gig bag itself is really top quality and very well padded. Thanks to the weight relief its not as heavy as my standard, so longer sessions are easier on your shoulders and back. It's hard to fault, sure it was expensive not so long ago which edged it into standard or Classic territory, but I saw the price reduction and nabbed a guitar that is premium and in my opinion better featured than the very latest version of the studios.Gibson knocked it out of the park with these versions of the Studio, because it's the balance of features, tones, functionality, and aesthetics, and if you can nab one at the lower price then you would be mad to miss it.
