Great seller, responds quickly and cares about his product; he's a funny guy so don't take him too seriously though.\\Parcel arrived 5 days earlier than expected! \\Packing was great 10/10, double boxing + bubble wrap 👍🏼\\Quality: Second time trying Gigabyte after 3 generations of Asus, in comparison Gigabyte is decent and dependable, I can't fault anything.\M.2 compartment had pre-intalled with thermal pads, Asus didn't have that on my Workstation or ROG Maximus boards. +1 for Gigabyte

This is my 3rd gigabyte mobo, I believe they make the best mobos for the money. I've never had a single issue with any of mine and I've always been an early adopter for their new boards. Feature wise this guy has everything, new 1718 lga socket, ddr5, pcie gen 5 m.2 slot, wifi/bluetooth, good sound codec, a great power phases. The fan headers and RGB headers are all thoughtfully laid out around the board. AMD expo ran stable and right away 6000mhz cl36 on the ram. The only complaint I can say and it's with every board is the cpu power plugs need to face the rear of the pcb. With the modern vrm heatsinks being massive and aio coolers becoming the norm there is little to no room to run 2 8 pin cables up there.

This is the first time that I’ve purchased a Gigabyte motherboard for a PC build. I’ve always used Asus boards because they’ve always been very reliable; however, my last two Asus boards failed. So I decided to try this Gigabyte Aorus motherboard, and its perfect. Fantastic Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a plethora of ports, 3 NVMe drive slots, some RGB (that’s not overbearing), a great chipset, and a super smooth and easy to navigate BiOS. 10/10 so far.

Recently upgraded to this motherboard from an AM4 MSI b550. I figured the setup would be just as straightforward as it was with my MSI board but i was terribly mistaken. After everything was said and done, i coild not get the onboard wifi working on this mobo, no matter what I tried. The first very confusing part is that there are like 6 different revisions of this board. The QR code on the box actually took me to the wrong rev webpage so those drivers didnt work. I had to look up the rev number myself using CPUZ. Once I finally got the correct drivers, wifi was still not working. No matter what I tried. I eventually had to shell out $100 for a USB WIFI 6 dongle. Overall, this board has great IO, tons of USB, and the quality is superb but I would NOT recommend to a beginner to PC building/PCs in general. The user experience was a 2 day headache for me, an experienced builder. If you’re looking for a hassle free setup, go with MSI. If you’re willing to jump through some hoops and then still not possibly be able to use the onboard wifi, then by all means get this board.
Good Mother Board but must know work arounds for common installation problems. At first would not power up. I played with main power connector and it finally powered up. If using 2 RAM slots, first install one ram stick in the 4th slot, away from CPU. It should post then. After installing Windows, then install the 2nd ram stick in the 2nd slot (for dual channel capability). Then install the Gigabyte Control Center and install the updated drivers. After restarting, then install the 2nd ram stick in the 2nd slot (for dual channel capability). All should be good at this point. I couldn't install the AMD CPU overclocking software because it stated that there is conflict with the AMD graphics driver. The ram is running at a frequency lower than the specification of 6000. ... MoreGood Mother Board but must know work arounds for common installation problems. At first would not power up. Maybe it is running lower because the system is idle?I'll play games tomorrow to learn more about the mother board. I just wanted to share a few suggestions for anyone running into installation problems.
Motherboard works as intended theres not anything special about it. I do like that all of the ssd slots are covered by heat sinks. I do have lag in certain parts of the bios. But it was the same way with my previous motherboard which was an MSI Z490. So maybe it is one of my components causing it. Overall great B650 motherboard.
I got this for my first PC build. Although everything else was intuitive to install, I was somewhat confused by the EZ latch m.2 system. However, after figuring out my error (I wasn't pushing my ssd into the m.2 slot fully), it was really nice to use.The bios is a joy to work with, and everything you need is findable in reasonable time. I was surprised to find RGB lights on the motherboard, but they look nice in my build.Make sure to connect the antenna and update BIOS drivers, as well as be prepared to need a wifi firmware download to use it. Also, make sure to update all your drivers to ensure fan speed, cpu boosts, etc are correct.
Awesome motherboard that I've had for a little bit more than a year now. Audio is good and I've populated all 3 SSD slots. No issues ever and the motherboard looks really good. I put a 7700x for my CPU and I haven't had any issues. USB port selection has never caused me any issues either. I also use Ethernet, Bluetooth, and sometimes WIFI and nothing has ever gone wrong with it.
After spening the better part of five days trouble shooting a NON POST I give up. Gigabyte managed to be first mother board in over 20 years that I couldn't get to work. Board would hang on DRAM error (Red LED on mother Board) and wouldn't post. RAM was Corsair Vengeance 5600 DDR5. Cant update bios because it wont POST. Cant use Quick Flash Post because it wont work..Dunno Why. Posted on Gigabyte website with an obnoxious amount of information needed. They wanted to the P/N and model of ever...single... component including RAM, MB, CPU. No response from Gigabyte for four days. Bought a new set of DDR 5 RAM this time 5200 DDR and it still wont post. Now I'm out another $150, 5 days and another $100 for an ASUS motherboard since BB didn't have a replacement. Bought a new set of DDR 5 RAM this time 5200 DDR and it still wont post. Now I'm out another $150, 5 days and another $100 for an ASUS motherboard since BB didn't have a replacement. In addition there is no MB manual. $250 and they cant include a $0.25 paper manual so I don't have to scroll through my phone when doing an install. Just a FYI for anyone else there is a 4 Pin and an 8 PIN power input for the CPU. You only need the 8PIN or the 4 PIN. Obviously the 8 Pin is preferred. But the manual doesn't tell you this. Another two hours wasted doing Gigabytes work.
Excellent build quality and color scheme that fits with any theme (subtle RGB on the chipset). Abundant amount of (modern) USB ports. Heatsinks are overbuilt to withstand any environment as well as support upcoming (AM6) CPUs. No coil whine - even with my RAM (XMP) & CPU overclocks. The Wi-Fi antenna's base is magnetic and wireless connections are strong across my 1,200 sq. ft home. Updating BIOS doesn't require a CPU and the UEFI BIOS is a breeze to navigate. Lastly, the 5 year warranty is a welcomed peace of mind.
