This was my first screen that's less than 10 years old so I don't necessarily have the best comparison to new gen hardware but the experience has been awesome. Colours look wonderful, absolutely bright enough (against a window too), gsync compatibility is so good, the curve is actually great. First 1440p monitor, makes such a massive difference over 1080p.

Recently baught this monitor and so glad i did. Performs way better than what i expected and the features on it are amazing. Especially love how i can use my mouse to adjust the screen settings. Perfect upgrade from my 24inch 60hz and makes a huge world of difference in gaming, not just with the response times but the graphics aswell.

Great monitor, nice resolution and colour. I bought 2 of these and sat them side by side, awesome. Alot of screen for the work I need to do. Packed well and reasonable delivery time. One of the screens outer packaging was damaged in the post however luckily the screen had no damage due to internal foam packaging.

Monitor is a great size, shipped and arrived super fast. The speakers do the job, but you're not going to want to rely on them for subtle, directional audio (but that's not really their point). I wish that when you switched inputs, that it would "disable" the monitor for that PC (when running a PC with dual monitors, it would be good if the PC recognised that this monitor is now "off", and to come out of extended desktop) - but it's a minor gripe. Very happy, would buy again.
I spent awhile researching monitors, choosing this one based on the listed features and price. So far so good! It includes all the required cables, 1 x HDMI, DP, USB and of course power lead, which I think are around 1.5 metre in length.I've been using this monitor for both office work and gaming. Great upgrade from my old 1080p 60hz monitor. I'm genuinely surprised at the additional screen space 1440p provides over 1080p.Out of the box colours and contrast are clear and vivid. Colours and contrast appear consistent across the entire screen. Did take me a while to calibrate to my liking. There is some ghosting between dark and light colours, mainly from deep blacks to lighter colours but not enough to cause distraction. The screen is sharp and crisp for desktop ... MoreI spent awhile researching monitors, choosing this one based on the listed features and price. So far so good! The screen is sharp and crisp for desktop work and gaming is incredible! The OSD application, which you need to download, is a little slow to adjust the settings, taking a second or 2 to update. The OSD application has all the screen adjustments and is easy to use.Listed as 'g-sync compatible' the monitor is correctly recognised in the nVidia drivers with no issues with enabling features. I did however need to reinstall the drivers for the monitor to be recognised. The inbuilt speakers are not the greatest but are adequate. As you'd expect they aren't very loud and lack bass. I do find the sound positioning on them surprisingly good.Overall this is an excellent screen and has exceeded my expectations.
The G27QC represents excellent value, being a 1440p screen with 165hz refresh rate at $350. I've been impressed with it so far - colour representation is good and contrast is great, as expected from a VA monitor. The curve is pleasant and borders are minimal although still present (I measure them to be around 10mm from the screen edge). The UI is easy to navigate and there are loads of settings to play around with.My criticisms are that there are significant backlight bright patches that are very noticeable in dark scenes and this is only exacerbated by the curve of the screen affecting the viewing angle. If you play more dimly lit games or watch a lot of movies you may find this to be quite distracting although the contrast between light and dark areas is still ... MoreThe G27QC represents excellent value, being a 1440p screen with 165hz refresh rate at $350. Another issue I have with this monitor is the presence of ghosting during motion which causes a motion-blur effect - this can be very noticeable in some games like Squad. I find that this effect is particularly obvious at times when your framerate is tanking, so this will probably only be an issue if your PC can't achieve consistently high framerates.Overall an excellent monitor that I'm very happy with, perhaps consider other options if you play darker games or your PC isn't up to the task of supplying this thing with over 60 frames.
Really pleased with the purchase and the quality of the monitor. One teething issue upon setup was that the USB ports didn't initially appear to work, but in the end it turned out this was only because I needed to also plug in a type A USB to transmit the signal to my PC. Apart from that, no issues.
As a monitor (1440p, HDR, colour, high refresh rate) - it's a great product! It works fantastically out of the box + has some neat configuration features; seeing content on it for the first time was like going from being blind to having crystal clear vision. It currently sits next to my old 1080p monitor and it really makes the 1080p screen look sad and positively prehistoric by comparison. The monitor does not turn from side to side (like a door), you can only tilt the panel back and forth as well as adjust its height.Onto the downside: Freesync is unusable with Nvidia GPU's (cannot comment on AMD experience). It works 95% of the time (and does so with grace and beauty), the other 5% you get smooth framerate but the backlight is flickering in a horrendous ... MoreAs a monitor (1440p, HDR, colour, high refresh rate) - it's a great product! Scan are wizardly and got this delivered the next day; which happened to be a sunday... early hours. Scan - A strong endorsement. Gigabyte - Strong endorsement. NVIDIA - cursed.
This was an upgrade to improve the refresh rate and resolution from my old monitor. I am happy with the results and it looks really nice in my revamped office. Unfortunately I do have a problem with the poor instructions provided to change the settings. It also won’t respond to the app that Gigabyte suggest you download (OSD Sidekick) unless it is connected to your pc using a USB A to B cable. I don’t have a USB B input on my PC (which is a Gigabyte MOBO!) either.
Very good monitor. The picture colour is good and refresh rate is great. I bought the monitor initially for £300 but then Scan had a discount active after I purchased it and refunded me the difference. Customer service was great and happy to help.
