Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC 8GB Graphics Card

(244 reviews)

Enjoy a great gaming experience with the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC 8G video card. Thanks to the combination of 6144 CUDA cores and a clock speed of 1830MHz, you can game smoothly in both QHD and Full HD. This means you'll see your opponents before they see you and you can take the lead in the online leaderboards. Do you prefer open world games? As part of the latest NVIDIA Ampere series, the card has the second generation ray tracing. This technology ensures lifelike light effects, like the reflection of your character in the water or the dimmed light in a dungeon. Temperatures may rise during an online gaming session, but the 3 fans will keep the card properly cooled. They remove the hot air actively and expand the lifespan of the GPU. The RGB LED lighting ensures a good match with the rest of your components. That way, you're always ensured of a light show when gaming.

Great 1440p card out of the box.

Bought this card pretty much bc it was the only card in stock under a grand. GPUs are so overpriced right now. Downgraded from an EVGA 3080ftw3 Ultra which was supposed to be top shelf but I had to RMA a few times. Anyways, this card runs surprisingly well and much cooler than expected. On the OC bios, fans don’t turn on until around 50C. First thing I did out of the box was run a benchmarks for about an hour and the fans were nearly inaudible the entire time. GPU reached a max of 64C which I thought was insanely cool. Couple hiccups that were seemingly solved by drivers, but I’m happy. Only reason I took off a star is because the card is so quiet that the coil whine at full load is pretty noticeable. Seems to be somewhat common. It’s a good card nonetheless.

It's good. Really good. I'm just glad I was able to get one.

This review is exactly what its title indicates.I had no illusions when I pulled up to MicroCenter for the lottery for that day, but I was so relieved when I finally was able to carry this card home.Am I a little disappointed by the lighting on the card? Sure. But that's more of a software issue. DLSS is quite honestly one of the most innovative things about the RTX series. As someone who cares a lot about framerates in games, it's great. And as someone who also uses their desktop as a workstation, the Nvidia software that's supported by RTX is also great.

Love it
8 April 2022

I wrote a really awesome review and for some reason it wouldn't submit and now I don't have time to give all the detail I did before. Love the card, cooling is incredible and the look of the design is really freakin cool. Very thicc for a 2-slot card but also very sturdy, doesn't sag at all. Stays about 10 Celsius colder than my 2070 Super under load, in just about every game and benchmark that I use. Honestly, could not be happier with this and the only way this card would ever not be worth it at this price, is if 3080s became available at MSRP, which I doubt will happen anytime within the next few years. Also worth noting, this card overclocks incredibly well, far and above the factory OC, and I haven't increased voltage or anything - and the boost core clock is ... MoreI wrote a really awesome review and for some reason it wouldn't submit and now I don't have time to give all the detail I did before. Fans remain quiet and GPU temps remain much lower than my 2070 Super's temps.

Phenomenal Card!
26 March 2022

Wanted to upgrade from my 1070 Ti and chose this one out of the bunch. Was able to snag it for about $850, which was probably the most I was willing to pay above MSRP for one of these. Not sure what it's listed at now, but I thought it was a fair enough deal. I suggest holding off buying one if over $900. Otherwise, I'd say go for it! The performance of the card blew me away! The only way I'd be able to get 144 fps on my 1070 Ti was to lower every game setting to the very minimum. Paired this card with a Ryzen 5 5600X and now I can run most games at 240 fps on high graphics settings. I often stream Apex Legends on Twitch, and the NVENC encoder allows me to stream at 936p while averaging 190 fps in-game at medium settings, which is amazing. Highly recommend this ... MoreWanted to upgrade from my 1070 Ti and chose this one out of the bunch. Powerful but power hungry
29 November 2021

Runs hotter than 3070, and sucks more juice too. But bang for the buck is among the best! Performance wise, I’m seeing is in line with what I expected-the 3070 ti slots in nicely between the 3070 and the 3080. Gigabyte’s implementation is very good. Heat is dissipated well and power consumption is in line. With the recent efforts to unlock lhr by the top miners like nbminer, trex, Phoenix and others , this is an excellent mining card if you have reasonably priced power. Roi is among the better for nvidia. I’m getting 73sols/sec on miniz, on equihash 125,4 mining flux…and 60mh/s on ethash

Quiet, Powerful GPU

This is my first Gigabyte card and I am impressed with the quality and performance so far! Played Assassin's Creed Valhalla at max settings, 1440p, hovered around 75-90fps. Cyberpunk 2077 at High Settings with Ray Tracing set to High with DLSS Quality at Balanced above 60fps as well. What most stands out to me is how quiet it is. Under normal load (browsing the web, idle, etc) the fans turn off completely. Temps are around 40-45 during this time. There is a OC and Silent options at the flick of the switch. I haven't tried the Silent, but I think the clock speeds are lower which means the fans would spin up less often. OC mode is what I'm using and my temps haven't gone above 65. Fans are quieter than my previous FE 2070 Super. I was also able to add +100 to the ... MoreThis is my first Gigabyte card and I am impressed with the quality and performance so far! The middle part is dimmer than the edges. RGB Fusion software works well enough and uses very little memory (13 MB). It's a huge card, so check your clearance! Uses two 8-pin PCI-E connectors. There is a little sag so I also got a GPU support bracket.

This would be an amazing card if it was $200 cheaper, for close to $900 you’re not really getting much of a performance boost from the 3070.Other than the cost to performance this is still a great card. With the increased heat fins and triple fan cooling capacity I haven’t seen the card get above 65c, even after playing BF5 for extended hours.Having the choice between two bios setting is also a nice feature, I’ve left mine in OC mode since I got the card and have been impressed so far with the noise level that I haven’t worried about changing to the silent mode. The rgb logo is a nice addition, although it’s not a lot it’s still a nice looking logo that looks well done. The cards size is something you might want to think about with this card if you’re thinking a ... MoreThis would be an amazing card if it was $200 cheaper, for close to $900 you’re not really getting much of a performance boost from the 3070.Other than the cost to performance this is still a great card. The cards size is something you might want to think about with this card if you’re thinking a small form case, this thing is thicc! I have a standard sized case and with three fans in the front and with the card installed there is about a 1-1.5 Inch clearance between them. The size of this card also causes it to snag a bit, but not to much to cause worry.Over all a great card.

Alright so somehow I was ridiculously lucky enough to get one of these in a drop. Coming from a 1060, this thing is insane. It shreds every game I play. I have it paired with an i7-9700k and 32gb of ram. I originally planned on going for a 3070 but ended up with this card and I am more than happy. I mainly play warzone and this card gets me a stable 170-180 fps and the majority of the time it touches in the 200s at 1080p. The employees at the store that I picked the card up at were amazed that I had gotten a card haha. It also requires a minimum of a 750W PSU so make sure you have that or better. As I’m writing this review, it has only been a day since I have picked up the card from the store and I’m already amazed. If you are able to snag one of these cards, you’ll be set for at least a few years minimum. All in all this card is simply amazing and it is totally worth the investment. If you are trying to get one of these cards, keep trying. As I said before it took over 5 months of constant monitoring in order for me to get this card.

What an Upgrade
7 July 2021

I'm very happy with this card. I won the purchasing opportunity through Newegg Shuffle and was hesitant on purchasing at first. But seeing as my Asus 1070 Strix OC was aging a bit and I have been wanting to purchase a 30's series since launch, I pulled the trigger. This card is able to run all my games at ultra settings utilizing all of my 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor. Finally able to run games in 21:9 aspect ratio instead of cutting it down to 16:9 to save some processing power. Overall I know this card will last me another 5/6 years like my 1070 did and I'm more than happy with that. Next upgrade - i9-10850k from my i7 6800k hahaha. LETS GO!
