I'm torn between 5 or 3 star rating.My cat loves this toy so far. But after 3 days of heavy play with it, the battery is starting to go. For the price, the battery should last longer than this or should be replaceable/rechargeable.

Makes cute little bird chirps whenever it's moved. Depending on my cats mood, he either plays with it or ignores it. If he knocks it when walking passed he'll usually play with it when it chirps.Would be nice if it had more than one chirp programmed in though

This is a great cat toy if your cat loves realistic toys or feathers, and especially if your cat loves noises. I've had this for a couple of years now and my cat loves to carry it around and then cache it for later. Then I get to find it walking to the toilet in the middle of the night because I stepped on a shirt on the floor with a surprise bird screamer under it. Cats love it, I don't

these motion activated sound toys by Gigwi are fantastic! The sound is not too harsh or loud and lasts for months and months, even with hours of daily play. i breed Burmese and Siamese and this bird and the mouse are in constant use - by kittens and adults alike. They are also an excellent toy for self directed play, so are especially good for cats and kittens spending time alone. A great fetch toy as well, when they are sharing with their humans :) I have just ordered the Toucan now - so glad Pet Circle have added these :)
My cats love this melody chaser bird. They go crazy throwing it around, pouncing on it as if they have caught their prey. One cat sits there and licks the feathers and the other picks it up and runs down the hallway and drops it at my feet feeling very proud! I have a few of these birds as I don't ever want to be without one. I give them as gifts to friends with cats too. The batteries last forever. I'm very impressed with the Gigwi cat toys - well most of them. Thanks you!
This is one of the two favourite toys Theo has. He’s 10 months and has been playing with it for about 4 months. He carries it in his mouth, gets it out of his toy box and has a great time with it. It did stop chirping but he barely noticed, we squished it a bit, and the sounds back. It’s one of those worth the money toys in this house. Think I’ll buy a spare. :)
My cat doesn't usually respond to soft toys but she LOVES this! She carries it around the house all day and takes it to bed with her at night. The sound chip works without batteries too. Excellent purchase especially for indoor cats who can't get to real birds.
Both my rescue pigeon and dog get so much enjoyment playing with this chirpy little toy. The pigeon even flies around the room carrying it in his beak and the dog is very gentle about carrying it, as if the toy is a living bird. Both have been playing with it for some months and the motion sensor chirper battery is still going strong. It's a winner.
Absolute winner! We have to lock it in a cupboard each night as it goes everywhere with her. She ppsts it around the house, flings it into the air and carts it around in her mouth! A total winner for Pip and for us as we can?t stop laughing!!
I have to keep at least 2 in our house.My indoor cats love this realistic sounding bird. They go crazy hunting it, jumping on top of it and licking it. One of my cats has a feather fethish and lacks it until the poor bird looks rather sad with less plumage from constant licking!It's also the perfect size for cats.
