I shaved 3 times with this razor, 2 passes each time with a few extra patches. The razor is a good design but it does not shave close enough and leaves patches. Let me explain. The top and bottom pads are raised way higher than the blades themselves which in my opinion is the reason for the bad performance. I wouldn't recommend this razor. I would say get the fusion as its a cleaner and closer shave than this design.Side note to Gillette, design the fusion blades to fit this handle, without the excessive price of the Lab blades. Customers can use the handle then with the fusion/pro-glide blades, this would be good as it wouldn't mean the handle will be wasted as many have already thrown it away.

I'm always a fan of Gillette products and really like this razor, gives a really good smooth shave. Will buy the foam too to compliment it. One downer, the magnetic stand doesn't work and it annoyingly keeps falling out of the bathroom cabinet. :-)

I ordered this Gillette razor bundle for my boyfriend. He is delighted with this shaver. A good shaving and gently. The skin is smooth and without baking feelings. He is very happy and it is definitely his favorite shaver.
I got this product from SSM as a product test, this product is absolutely fantastic. I get irritated and cut to shreds from ladies razors and refused to shave due to sensitive skin. This balm instantly calmed the irritation after the shave. Skin felt softer and stayed soft for days.
I received this product as a product test from Supersavvyme and am so happy I was picked. As a woman who did stop all hair removal due to either being cut to shreds from razors and painful rashes or a painful rash due to waxing, I thought I'd try shaving again but with mens razors, this ladies will rock your world. I will never go back to anything else again. The razor is so nice to hold, no Nick's or cuts and thanks to the matching shaving foam and after shave moisturiser, theres nothing to worry about again. A close and smooth shave with no cuts and no rashes.
I bought two of these when they were on offer. I was under the impression that the picture of 4 blades on the side of the box, suggest that there were four sets of blades, but what it actually means is the razor head has 4 blades. Unfortunately in use the blades clog extremely easily and do not rinse out in the normal way. Then the razor does not cut. The only way I found to deal with this was cleaning the head with a toothbrush.The articulated head design works extremely well, is comfortable and gives a close shave as long as you have short stubble. Hopeless on long stubble due to clogging. Beware if you like to shave with very hot water, as the hinge part is metal and gets very hot very quickly. The stand is a gimmick. Not used to write reviews but leaving this as I relied on existing feedback before buying this product. Firstly, the quality of blades is not good at all as even the first shave was not as close as it comes with other Gillette blades e.g. fusionBlades completely worn out after four/ five shaves and starting irritation afterwards. The magnetic stand is poorly designed as one has to be very careful and exact to put the razor on the stand otherwise it will keep falling. Not worth trying this product at all.

I received this product free as part of a review. The razor and stand have a good weight to them and are not flimsy in anyway. The razor gave a close shave and the flexible head is great for a smooth glide around bumpy areas. I would continue to purchase the blades.
