Gillette Venus Snap Razor

I love this razor.It's the first Gilette one I've tried after becoming disappointed with Wilkinson Sword.I buy the regular Venus blades as they are cheaper and work better than the one included with the handle.The shorter handle makes getting my in underarms much easier and I feel I have a better grip thanks to the pink rubber grip.The blue case is a nice touch too, I used to throw away a lot if razors because if I put it down incorrectly the aloe Vera strips clag up and make perfectly sharp blades unusable. The case holds the razor in a way that doesn't have the blade touching any surface and the holes mean it can drip dry.I've since bought a second one to keep in an overnight bag. Upon first use of this razor I thought it was brilliant. Not only is it pocket size and perfect for taking on holiday, but the moisturising strip was very silky and moisturising against the skin giving a nice smooth shave.However, after using it a few more times I noticed that the strip of moisturiser became a big blob of gloop - as if it had melted like a wax candle. As you can imagine, this really hindered the shaving capability of the blades - rendering them useless. Therefore I only managed to get at most - two shaves out of this razor before they had to be dumped in the bin.Overall, the razor itself is brilliant but the blade counterpart needs re-designing.

I love the idea of this razor: It's a full sized Venus blade with a tiny handle and carrying case so you don't have to sacrifice quality in an on-the-go shave. (And I seriously mean small: the razor measures under 3 inches from handle to razor head tip, and the closed case is under 4 inches long!) The information I received said you don't need shave cream, and all you have to do is wet the head. I will only partially agree with this. If you're using this to touch up a missed strip of hair on the go, then you're probably ok without any shave cream. I tried to shave my legs using the Gillete Venus Snap with Embrace using only water, and I got serious razor burn. (I even tried rubbing the Embrace strip around on my leg before shaving with the blade, but that only helped reduce the burn and dragging a little bit.) But when I used a little body wash on my leg and then shaved, I got a super smooth shave with no burn. So it depends on your needs, but I would only recommend this razor in an emergency. On the plus side, it's a great travel size for packing, so if you're trying to pare down your overnight bag, this is a great razor to throw in!

This little nifty razor is perfect to throw in your bag. I had a few times where i actually forget to shave my armpits and was out having a good time until i lifted my arms to fix my hair in the bathroom. Thank goodness i had this mini razor with me and it actually dies a great job without the nicks and razor bumps that most razors give. The blades stay nice and sharp without gunk getting stuck in between them which i appreciate along with no rusty blades to deal with. Get yourself a pack and maje sure you never get stuck with hairy pits.

The main thing I notice about these blades is that I feel like I’m safer from cutting myself and yet I get a clean shave. They’re just very comfortable. I think the moisturizing strip does a good job of keeping irritation at bay, too. They’re pricey but I feel like they’re worth it.

I saw this product at the store many times before buying it, but thought it was too expensive for a single tiny razor. In my last trip I decided to buy it cause I was gonna be moving from city to city a lot and wanted to have a razor with me in my purse and this had a great size. It was a great choice!!! The box keep it dry and safe for other objects in my purse, is easy to grab and Just side onto my skin. There’s no need for a shaving foam or anything special, the razor does all the work. After my trip it still looks like brand new and I’m planning to take it to my next adventure. I love it 😍😍

I bought this mini razor on a whim at Ulta during a sale figured I’d just give it a shot. While I definitely prefer my normal razor for day to day, this little guy is perfect for travel or just to have in your purse in case of emergency. It gets the job done is very convenient. If you are looking for a razor to travel with or to have one to throw in your purse or your gym bag in a pinch, I think this is perfect for that exactly. But with that being said, I don’t think this is the right razor to use for everyday or daily use. Just my personal opinion though.

Love these little razors. They are so convenient for the gym or travel as they don’t take up too much space and have their own carrying case so you don’t slice a finger going through your toiletries bag. I actually prefer the shape and handle of these to normal razors as I find them even easier to hold and more ergonomic while you’re shaving. Definitely a must have!
