I made this purchase 4 days ago. The stand for the razor is a joke. I put it in the shower with the razor, and the razor fell out. (The grip on the razor's handle is frail.) The blade fell out. Unlike other Gillette blades, this one is inserted into the razor by holding the blade cartridge with your fingers. And the cuts on my index finger prove the stupidity of doing away with the current insertion technique. The box only contains one cartridge.

I did a subscription on the blades. First order was $17 . The second came and it was $27.09 . So I cancelled the subscription. Here comes July and I was charged $27.09 after cancelling the subscription in April. Called them Wednesday after logging into their website and it shows I HAVE NO SUBSCRIPTIONS. BUT THEY SAY I have one still. So Andrew said he would refund my money. And go ahead and keep the blades for free. I then go to my bank account and they charged me again!!!!!!!!!!!! I called again and Jerry says oh Andrew only cancelled the subscription. I will email you a return label and when we receive the blades back then we will put the money back into your account. I have found after over a month of using this razor, that it provides a very good shave and I want to continue using it. But, why is the handle so small? I have used your vibrating razors for years and thanks to the space required for the battery, it fits a man’s hand pretty well. I don’t understand that this new and quite efficient razor has a handle for a small hand. Can’t you offer some ingenious add on to this razor, a larger handle adapter for larger hands. I have been using Gillette razors for fifty years and find this to be the best and the less than best of all those fifty years.

My son bought a Gillette razor with battery power in the handle. He bought it back in 2011 and used it with the same cartridge for a year and a half. He passed away and I started using it on my legs. I have been thinking using it every since with the original cartridge and it still keeps my legs hair free without nicks. So the same razor has worked for me for the past 11 years! In total it has been used for 13 years. What a remarkable thing. I can't say enough about the quality of this razor. Thank you Gillette!
I have been shaving for 60 yrs+ mostly with Gillette razors. I have found the "new" razors to have but it just always been an improvement to the old except now First of all, the razor doesn't fit the stand. Don't know if handle or base the problem, but it just doesn't fit no matter how I maneuver it. I usually by Fusion blades at Costco when they are on sale for $10 off costing about $40 for 16 cartridges. Haven't found Lab blades on sale by themselves yet. It will be interesting to see the $$ difference when/if that happens. In the meantime, I'll stick with Fusion blades with "power" handle.
Worst razors I’ve ever used!!This GilletteLabs razor was for me,the worst I’ve ever bought.I’ve always been satisfied with Gillette’s products, but this one sucked big time for me.The hairs got really stuck between the blades, and was not easy to rinse out. And my “beard” wasn’t even that long og thick. “3 days beard”I went to buy a simpler razor…by Gillette. And it got the job done for me.I’ve tried it several times, and I got the same bad results….I do not recommend this model!
I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat.But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! Wow! This razor leaves my face feeling as smooth as a baby’s skin! It has an exfoliating bar/strip below the razor, so it cleans your face before the blades do their job. It really does feel like it washes your face and removes dirt and oil! It has five blades that provide a quick, smooth shave. At the base of the blades is what they call a flexdisc. This helps the blades move across the contours of my face very easily. It has a metal handle that has a nice grip and just feels well-made. I also really like that it has a magnetic base, so I can stand up my razor on the sink afterward. I mean, who wants their razor face down on the counter?
