I was so delighted to find this fragrance still available on the Giorgio Armani website. I first wore this fragrance when I was in high school. I have very fond memories with this perfume as most of the women in my family wore this as their signature scent. It is potent without being obnoxious. It lasts ages on the skin and will garner many compliments from those around you! Fast forward 12 years later, and I still find this perfume to stand out among the rest. If you are tired of gourmand, overly sweet and synthetic fragrances, you will adore this one. It is timeless, classic, a must in anyone's perfume collection. Thank you Armani for still creating this masterpiece.

I have been wearing this for 20 years. The scent is beautiful. I love it. Others comment and ask what it is. My niece, 34 yrs old, asked if I would mind if she wore it too! She loves it. Wears it always, except when I visit!Acqua Di Gio is my signature scent. It is the only perfume I wear. It’s noticeable without being suffocating or offensive to others, just a pleasingly beautiful sent to me and those I hug or those in close proximity.Found it getting difficult to locate and purchased 5 bottles the last time from Armani. Now it is out of stock. I am extremely disappointed. Please restock this scent.The new scents have been sampled and they simply do not compare; I will not be buying them. this fragrance launched as i was entering freshman year of college, and i became an instant and long-term fan. nonstop compliments, be it at 8am squash class, late night TA sessions, part-time internships, full-time corporate setting, weekend escapades, and even funeral gathering...extremely versatile and an ever clean, gentle spritz of optimism. discontinuing this fragrance is akin to eradicating the happiest memories of my prime still recallable from olfactory cues. armani: whats the matter with you?

This fragrance is everything! If you want to be transported to a tropical aquatic oasis with fresh breezes, this perfectly harmonizes aquatic notes of muscat grapes from Pantelleria with the freshness of pineapple and citrus notes. Watermelon, freesia, hyacinth, jasmine & ylang-ylang- Its light and sensual works for both day and night. The dry down is amber and sandalwood. Boyfriend loves as well!!!! I smelled so many fragrances to find this one thats been out for years. YAY!
I LOVED this fragrance back in the 90s. I remember people literally chasing me down and asking what I was wearing. Then it disappeared and had to replace it several times since...unsuccessfully. Gioia did not even compare....went on too strong and faded into something that I dis not like. I found the original at Macy's and though it was only eau de toilette, it still had more staying power than a lot of fragrances. Now it is labeled last chance which I assume means it will be discontinued again. This is one you need to bring back for those of us who loathe orientals, heavy or too fakey scents.I don't think you can stock up on perfume like you can running shoes but I may have to.
This was my daughter and my signature scent. Been wearing since the 90s when it first came out. My daughter passed away in 2015 and this perfume is my connection to her. I have my bottle and her bottle left (half way down on both). After they are gone, I will not only lose my favorite perfume by my scent connection to my daughter. Please bring it back. This is the best perfume ever and the new Acqua di Gioa is no substitute.
This is by far the best fragrance ever made! This is my classic scent and I never get tired of the compliments I receive from men and women alike. Last week alone I had 3 people stop me to ask what fragrance I’m wearing and where they can get it!! Please please do not discontinue this incomparable scent... no other perfume holds a candle to the fresh, clean, and irresistible aroma this fragrance produces!!! I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without this signature scent, the Aqua Di Gioa is no where near as wonderful as this classic fragrance and no other fragrance has ever come close to making me want to ever consider switching from Aqua Di Gio for women!!
Received the package, liquid dripping out. Opened package, soaked with cologne, and more than half the bottle was empty. Not attempting another purchase. Returned what was left.
Absolutely love this fragrance! Have been using it for over 20 years. I echo all the previous comments..fresh, light, hints of summer breezes!As it has become more difficult to find (though many of the discount perfume stores sell a fake version!!) I have tried to find a new scent but in vain.Many of my friends and family switched to it when I started using it but, in recent years, have given up trying to buy it as it is impossible to find. One friend in the UK takes the ferry to France just to be able to find it in the ship's duty free.....that's dedication!!Gorgio Armani, if you are listening, please keep this scent available!!
