Armani Beauty Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick is a matte lip product unlike any other I have tried. I purchased shade 208, Venetian Red, earlier this year in the Sephora Luce Vibes kit. Though this color has red in the name, Sephora lists the shade as “Brown Brick”. On my fair skin, it is a muddy orange-brown color that is less than flattering. As far as the lip formula itself, the Armani Beauty Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick is quite impressive. It smoothes onto lips as a silky velvet gel that has a creamy texture. This formula is hydrating rather than drying on lips and provides up to four (4) hours of hydration during wear. The marketing claims state this lipstick will last all day. I find it rubs off easily and only leaves an odd powdery orange staining on my lips after a short period of wear. This is not a long last product. However, my lips do feel soft and hydrated each time I use it. Armani Beauty Lip Maestro Liquid Matte Lipstick is available at Sephora. The full size product can be purchased for $39. Though I do not recommend this shade for any skin tone and think the performance does not match the price point for this product, I do think it is a nice lipstick and enjoy the way my lips feel while wearing it. It is definitely one I recommend sampling if possible but cannot recommend purchasing full size without trepidation.

Lately I've been all about spoiling myself. So I've been ordering luxury sets from Sephora, like the Luxe Vibes Collection which I got a great deal on. It has some absolutely phenomenal products in it, let me tell you! One of those products is the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Intense Velvet Color in 208 Venetian Red, which is pretty much brick red. When I first saw this lipstick I thought it was going to be way too dark for my super fair complexion, but I was totally wrong! It looks absolutely gorgeous and almost matches my natural lip color. I think this shade would look good on pretty much any skin tone. This lipstick is very pigmented and the color is very dramatic. It's very rich and creamy, with a velvety, matte finish. I think this shade would look good on pretty much any skin tone. This lipstick is very pigmented and the color is very dramatic. It's very rich and creamy, with a velvety, matte finish. This product isn't sticky or drying feeling on my lips, it keeps them very hydrated. It does transfer when you take a drink, so be prepared to re-apply. It does not have a taste to it though. The texture is smooth and feels nice on your lips. What it is, is a hydrating matte liquid lipstick that delivers intense, velvety lip color and a creamy texture for lips that feel as luxurious as they look. Velvet-gel provides a sensorial texture and a silky finish. Anti-shine powders- absorb oils and mattify color. Nourishing paste- provides up to 4 hours of hydration and comfort that lasts all day. The #1 Liquid Lipstick in the US, Lip Maestro infuses lips with long-lasting hydration and intense color. A makeup-bag must-have with a variety of lipstick shades, this non-drying and non-sticky lipstick formula delivers incredible long-wearing color payoff and a matte lip look. This product is an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner. I can definitely see what all the fuss is about this lipstick. I'm so glad that I got to try it, but for $39 a pop at Sephora or $37 on Amazon, I don't think that I'll be buying too many. I absolutely recommend trying them for yourself though if you can afford them, if you're like me and really can't, for $32.50 you can try the Luxe Vibes Collection, which has an AMAZING collection of luxury items to try, plus a coupon for 15% off of one of the full-sized items. You're welcome. ğŸ˜

I was surprised to learn Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick has been around for a decade. I've never heard of it until receiving the product to try. Available in 32 shades, I received 103 Tadzio (beige pink), 209 Palazzo (warm brown red) and 524 Rose Nomad (deep rose). It's described as a velvet matte liquid lipstick with a creamy texture. I have to admit I was not a fan when I first tried this product. I was a little biased upfront simply because the colors were not flattering on me at all. When applying the product straight from the applicator it felt thick, cakey and almost tingly as if it was a plumper. It does give one coat coverage as stated in its description, however, I could not get it to fully dry and it smudged like crazy. When applying the product straight from the applicator it felt thick, cakey and almost tingly as if it was a plumper. It does give one coat coverage as stated in its description, however, I could not get it to fully dry and it smudged like crazy. Not at all whaat I would expect from a velvet matte liquid lipstick. I discovered if you apply the product in layers with a very light hand, you get a velvety finish. It looks almost like a heavy lipstain. Applied this way, 524 Rose Nomad looked wonderful on my skin tone. I even received compliments on it at work. The other two colors are still unflattering on me on their own but I discovered if you mix them (103 Tadzio and 209 Palazzo) together, you get the perfect 90's grunge brown lipstick. My two primary complaints with this product is it smears like crazy, even applied lightly. Moreso than any other product I've used. Also, the description states you should get 8 hours of wear with it. That is simply not so unless perhaps you don't eat or drink during those 8 hours. After a "burrito test" and I was left with blotchy half missing lipstick. I reapplied after eating and drank water throughout the afternoon. By the end of the day, I had a light stain on my lips. While it didn't look bad, I definitely didn't have lipstick left. I feel like the packaging looks like something from a less expensive brand. Disappointing as it retails at $38. It has been given awards from Glamour Magazine but I honestly don't understand why. Perhaps if I had colors that flattered me a little better and I could wear it the way it's meant to be worn I would like it more. As it stands, I don't see that it's worth the price.

The perfect matte nude lip does not exis— is actually shade 103 Palazzo, a versatile, universal nude or base color for other lip products. No. 103 goes with anything and everything, but would be a great compliment to an intense smokey eye. When I first saw the shade 209 Palazzo, I was sure it wouldn’t work for me, and I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong about a color! It might even be my favorite. I like 209 with a golden/bronze eye look.

I have always liked liquid lipsticks as I really don’t like wearing lip products that transfer super easy. I rarely wear gloss for this reason. Since COVID came to our shores, mask wearing outside the house has pushed me to reeeallllyy dig into my liquid lipstick stash and let me tell you, all liquid lipsticks are NOT created equal. Many smudge and rub off on the mask as soon as I put my mask on which is fine if I don’t plan to take my mask off except for in the car and when I get home. For those occasions when we are at someone’s house, the LAST thing I want is lipstick smudged on my face. There’s also times where my already chronically dried lips feel even drier after wearing them for sometime. I don’t mind that as much though, more of an observation. I figured this would be the perfect time to try these out. I received three shades and just from past experiences figured the darkest one would not be as lasting as the lighter ones. Color me surprised when all 3 performed beautifully! I will note: Check your teeth before you finish applying because before they set they are SO creamy and moisturizing. So a little might get on your teeth. Once they dry down, they are set and you can easily go about your day. I will say that If you aren’t in the habit of using a lip balm or chapstick before you apply any liquid lipsticks, you may see that the lines in your lips are enhanced. I love these and aside from the complimentary colors I got, I will definitely purchase some pinker/mauvier ones!

Yes, I'd sworn off matte liquid lipsticks. Then I saw these and yielded to impulse. I have two shades--506 Fusion (a gorgeous, neutral-to-cool, fleshy, natural, soft rose) and 507 Garconne (a gorgeous, neutral-to-cool medium mauve leaning to plum). I love the formula--they really look and feel like a second skin on the lips, and while I didn't find them moisturizing, they are not as "ultra-matte" as Armani claims. The color is absolutely weightless, well-pigmented, and the shades I chose are about the ultimate MLBB for me. The product comes packaged in a squat--well, bottle--with a twist-off cap that's easy to handle. The applicator is a bit odd--it's flat plastic that's flocked on one side, and comes to a point. I found that it took a try or two to get the hang of it, but you can get a very thin, very accurate application with it. (A lip brush works equally well, though.) The formula is creamy and takes a minute or so to dry down as much as it does, which is not fully, and I found it surprisingly comfortable to wear (I prepped with lip balm prior to applying). But the best thing about these besides the shades, which cover the spectrum (less the really unconventional colors), that I truly love is the fact that these stay on, even with balm underneath. And on top. It stands up to multiple applications of lip balm and still looks just-applied, and that is impressive. (I can't comment on transfer because I use balm with these, and I don't care if my lip color transfers or not. These do not bleed, though.) If you really don't like liquid mattes, avoid these (especially for the price), but if you can tolerate them and want great wear time, look into them. I would not repurchase only because I'm tired of mattes, but these are the best of all I've used.

I've always had very sensitive lips, and I've tried many brands, but there was always an issue. Some made my lips very dry, some were too heavy, some were greasy, and some looked perfect at first but then cracked on my lips. But this time, I chose the right brand: Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro lipstick. It's the best— not too heavy, not dry, not oily... I can't explain how it feels when you apply it. It's velvety and very soft. It's a bit expensive, but it's absolutely worth it.

The texture of this is amazing, especially being matte and a liquid lipstick. It is at once like wearing nothing at all, and also somehow feeling like a tender lip balm. As a professional makeup artist that now specializes in weddings, it need something a little more indelible for special occasion wear; However, I recommend this to my clients that need a non-drying, daily wear lipstick that don't like the feeling of a lipstick.
