I've been using this helmet just under 2 years. It is very good. It is light and comfortable. Easy to get the straps dialed in to your preferences, and then they stay there. The MIPS system is a neat fine-tuning way to get your helmet sitting just right on your head - like making it sit a bit high to maximize airflow. And that is a great feature - the ventilation; I ride in southern AZ where it is hot 9 months/year, and I appreciate the generous airflow over my head. The only possible downside is, I was disappointed the helmet didn't come with a visor. Apparently visors are out of fashion now, but not for those of us who ride outdoors. In bright sunlight. Fortunately, I was able to take the visor off my old Giro helmet and glue it on this one. When I buy my next ... MoreI've been using this helmet just under 2 years. It is very good. Or I'll buy a brand that comes with a visor.

I have never felt the need to wear a helmet while riding my bike, but with more people, especially young kids on the bike paths and streets with e-bikes it has become increasingly dangerous not to wear one. I decided to purchase this brand and I love it and highly recommend this company. It's reasonably priced and you have the confidence that the helmets were designed especially for a weekend warrior or just a casual bike rider...and I love the color options as well! I am very color coordinated and stylish while riding my bike.

I recently purchased the Giro Agilis MIPS road cycling helmet, after doing some research. It had good reviews from cycling publications and after narrowing it down to the Giro and Kask Mojito (a similar price), I chose the Giro.I tried both on in store, the Giro was slightly more comfortable for my head shape and I'd certainly recommend actually trying them on to ensure comfort.I have short hair and was between sizes (58/59), but decided it was a bit of struggle to fit into a M, so went L. I wear the helmet with and without a cycling cap, depending on the weather. It is easy to adjust and good to know it has the latest safety technology.I ended up buying online as my colour helmet was not in store and Sigma's online was easy to use and pricing was competitive.

Wasn’t sure what to think before getting this helmet. I was on the larger end of a medium and small end of large (barely a medium). The medium fits great and isn’t maxed out in adjustability. Fit and finish is excellent. Feels and looks of really good quality. Price is excellent in comparison to comparables. Overall I’m super happy with this helmet. I wouldn’t think twice about buying if I was buying again. I haven’t checked warranty or crash replacement policy, but if applicable that’s a bonus.
This replaced a Suomy that got cracked in a crash. I like this helmet even better! Adjustable for a perfect fit, I noticed immediately that it breaths better!! Totally comfortable and the MIPS design is a safer helmet in the event of a bad crash. Why we wear helmets!!And I bought 2 extra sets of pads, so I can throw the dirty ones in the wash.An excellent helmet! BRAVO!!!
First of all, a helmet is not optional equipment. My last helmet retired with honor after a crash that broke my pelvis. That’s the third time a helmet has prevented brain injury for me. This helmet is an upgrade for me, and I loved it the moment it went on my head. It is so comfortable, I almost forget it’s there. The adjustment system is genius. The venting is well designed and ample to keep my head cool. And it looks fantastic. only the most inattentive driver could miss this fluorescent yellow beacon. As for protection, I’m confident it will prevent serious injury, but I hope to never find out.
I purchased this earlier this year. Mine was white and i was stoked over how well it fit. Lite well vented but sturdy as well. Fit much better than my discount store helmet i had been rocking. My wife has an d hand me down she wears if and when she wears a helmet. Last week she went out with her sister and mentioned that she wore my helmet. She said it was ok but she ended up With a headache. I went to go out today and as i was getting ready I noticed the top of my helmet looked like it went under a low overpass and lost. I asked my wife what she did to it. She said she “bumped” into a low hanging branch. Based on the damage i am surprised she did not have more than a headache. I am glad she was wearing it but not excited to buy it again
So my previous Giro helmets were over a dozen years old and while technically holding together they had definitely seen better days with random parts occasionally poking my scalp. They were like $400 helmets so it was hard to let them go but once I slid this on my abused and neglected cranium there was no decision left. Even though this is significantly cheaper than the prior helmets it was significantly more comfy and not just due to age. There have been some great advancements in the fastening mechanisms and padding. Plus it should be safer in a crash but thankfully no testing of that yet. Oh and it looks great as well. Highly recommended
I'm writing this review simply because I tested this helmet where it actually matters, during a big crash, and it performed better than I could have hoped. I was doing about 40km/h when a rather large wombat decided to come running across the pathway I was on. I tried to avoid it but long story short it ended in me going headfirst over the handlebars and the side of my helmet smashed into the ground before the rest of my body. It was a pretty harsh impact and for a second my vision went blurry as I took the hit, but if it weren't for my memory of the event and the cuts and bruises on my legs and arms, I wouldn't have known I hit my head 10 minutes later. The foam was of course visibly smashed and the helmet is broken, but my head is fine and the helmet took the ... MoreI'm writing this review simply because I tested this helmet where it actually matters, during a big crash, and it performed better than I could have hoped. I can't speak for or against the MIPS system, but I guess if it works, you don't know it, so I'll stick with MIPS in future and actually think I will be buying another one of these helmets so that I can get back out there, at least then I can ride knowing I've got good protection on.As for fit and finish, it's a very comfortable helmet, I'd say one of the most comfortable I've ever worn (and I have a rather large head fit so I can be picky with this, but the adjustability is easy enough to dial in). It's well vented and holds up well in heat, but I've also worn it this winter without any caps and it was perfectly fine in the cold too, assuming it's not raining, in which case you will need either a cap or a more closed helmet. Really can't fault this one though, it may well have saved my life.
Was wearing a giro helmet when I was bumped by a car. I loved the helmet and it did its job when I needed it. This Giro helmet looks good, and fit exactly like my first one. I cant thank the vendor who was great to work with and sent the helmet even faster than expected. Thank you!
