I will be completely honest, I originally chose this coat based solely on the looks and because I saw the North Face video about the Theroball. But once I tried it on I did decide it was a must for wet weather. I like it layer it to keep extra warm. (It isn't quiet as warm as I'd expect for blizzard like conditions. Made for warmer weather 30s and 40s.) I love how it packs up to a ball and takes up minimal space. Well sewn. Fits true to size. I chose grey. Doesn't seem to get dirty. Not bulky. Hood and sleeves close up to create seal and keep water out.

These goggles fit perfectly over my prescription eyeglasses, and integrate seamlessly with my Giro Timberwolf helmet (and, I believe, all Giro cycling helmets). I've had very few issues with the lens fogging up. And with the devastating wildfires in Colorado, there were days when ash was literally raining down from the sky and I wouldn't have been able to ride without these goggles protecting my eyes. Highly recommended!

The Giro Cruz is a great goggle for a snowy or sunny day and for a great price you can enjoy your time on the slope and the goggle fits with majority of helmets with a snug fit.
Don't fog up. Fit well. Yellow lenses are great for cloudy days or nights. Amber rose lenses for the blue bird days are good
These goggles and very comfortable and awesome looking but the shaded pair of lenses had some problem where they fogged up and I couldn’t even wipe them off. The fog was built up on the inner layer of the goggles. But the polarized yellow pair was great, it was just too sunny to use them comfortably. I hope you have better luck with these!
Bought as they claimed to be compatible with glasses, they are not remotely large enough for small glasses. Did not use on snow, they seem fine for regular goggles.
Giro states these are OTG compatible, which is true to the extent that there is a cutout for the frame arms. The goggles press my average sized glasses into my nose pretty hard and aren't very comfortable. Look elsewhere if you're wearing glasses when using these.
When I took this jacket out of the box at first I was a little weary by how glossy the black jacket looked. It looks like someone dipped it in gloss paint and let it dry. However, once I put it on, all glossiness aside, I fell in love. It is the most practical jacket on the market. And if you are deciding between no hood and hood...get the hood. Packs ultra light and is perfect in 30 degree weather (with another layer) up to 50 degrees. Get past the glossiness and this jacket rocks. True to size as well (although a little roomy so if you like tight fitting size down).
Good Less expensive goggles, I have been trying to find a good goggle that fits with the smaller prescription glasses adapter I got from amazon and it has not been easy. lots of wasted money on different goggles( multiple oakley and ashbury and electric and dragon all would not fit) Obviously I have tried a lot of different expensive brands and these giro are by far the best! they are a good slim line goggle for a medium fit face an medium to dark light conditions but perfect for me and my application (I use them mostly when its shady or starting to be night but they performed good enough today with full sun exposure all day) also the least expensive goggle I have purchased all season. Thanks again backcountry!
