The knit fabric at the finger openings is raw cut. There is no stitching along the edge for reinforcement. Just carefully taking the gloves off a couple of times the edge has begun to fray. I doubt that the gloves will last even one season.They are also very difficult to put on and take off. I had expected as much since they lack a Velcro strap at the wrist like many other gloves. This would be less of an issue if the gloves weren’t so delicate at the finger openings.

These Giro gloves were so small that I couldn't put 3 fingers in it. Giro does not have ANY QUALITY CONTROL to have these gloves sent to Altitude Sports and then waste my time ordering them and then have to waste my time repacking them and sending them back to Altitude Sports.They were one of the more expensive ate $54.99.
Built well with nice backing that contours nicely to your hands and fingers. Runs small, so if purchasing buy at least buy one size up.
Best fit/feel of any gloves I have ridden with whilst dry. But after a few hours of riding and sweating the gel sachets under the heel of the hand pop out of their pouches. Fail!
The fit is good. I'm usually a Large and they fit fine. But there is no Velcro closure, so pulling them on and off is quite difficult. There is light padding at the base of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers and medium padding on the pinky side of the palm. Nothing on the thumb side. I prefer the Pearl Izumi Select, but they were out of stock.
The top might look a bit like a wool on the photo but it looks weel in reality. Fits really great.
Glove runs extremely small. Upon inspection it looked like it fits a small child. Did not want to go through hassle of returning and gave it away to a friend. For reference, she is 4'11", small, thin hands; and even she had some trouble slipping it on.
