The scent is an absolute 10/10, very elegant and refined. But I missed the memo about the change in formula ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I buy in bulk during sales so just started using candles with the new formula. the scent throw and longevity of the candles are way shorter with the soy wax... the smell used to fill the house, now it barely fills a room. I seem to be burning through the candle a lot faster now too. Not a good investment anymore... please change it back to paraffin!

Having been gifted a divine Teak & Petigrain Glasshouse candle previously, I was keen to capture the same gorgeous fragrance by ordering the same product on your website. I was excited to repeat the experience of enjoying the same pure and intense scent which pervaded my living room. Ordering was easy and delivery was efficient but I am a little disappointed with the candle this time. It burns beautifully but the jar appears a tiny bit smaller, the glass a little thinner and the fragrance not as aromatic nor anywhere as enduring as my last candle.

Purchased Glasshouse candles for the first time taking advantage of Retreat's sale. Candles arrived promptly, well packed and in perfect condition. So happy I did. These candles are divine. I ordered Bora Bora Bungalow and Lost in Amalfi. They are both beautiful fragrances but Lost in Amalfi is my favourite. Will definitely be ordering again. Such a shame the Retreat store is on the other side of the country. Would love to visit and use for last minute gifts. Could really use one today!
I am besotted with the fragrance. There is something seasoned, almost edible but not in a brown sugar and spice way like other fragrances. It’s really special and unique. I have 120 perfumes and have burnt hundreds of scented candles yet I’ve never come across a scent like this. It doesn’t seem to be among Glasshouse’s best sellers for some reason as it doesn’t feature in their perfume collection or in any baubles or limited editions. So I’m fearful it’ll be discontinued and I’m buying back- ups. As with all Glasshouse candles it burns evenly (two wicks) without tunnelling and it’s scent has good projection.
I was choosing between the One Night in Rio and this one and could not resist it despite the fact it only came in full size. I absolutely love the smell - it's a subtle woody rose reminiscent of expensive perfume (Aerin Rose de Grasse) rather than a typical candle scent (like many of the others in the Glasshouse range). I don't find it overpowering personally - because I love it. I'm tempted to try the shower gel and the mini perfume :)
The product arrived quickly which was great. I like the scent, but much prefer the scent of the now deleted Amalfi Coast candle. Although this one is nice it gives me a headache after a while. Would love it if I could hold of the original Amalfi Coast candles.
Just love, love the Glasshouse candles. Their scents are exotic, lingering, strong, permeate the whole house enveloping us in beautiful, sensuous scents that are zingy, uplighting, invigorating and luxurious transporting us to tropical paradises. And it’s reassuring knowing they’re natural. My favourite is Cyprus, but Amalfi and Rio come a close second. So happy my daughter put me on retreat where I can save.
Absolutely love these candles , but i am reluctant to buy because of the price . Found this gem of a company with amazing prices and exceptional business acumen . My order was processed and shipped in a fast reliable time . Well packaged . Could not fault them , will definitely use them again . Lost in Amalfi is definitely my favourite xx
