Needed extensive modification to work on my kayak. The scupper supports were way to far down, so the kayak was sitting on the cross bar which would have badly damaged the bottom of the kayak over time.I was ably to modify the design to work successfully on my kayak, but many would not be able to do this. So... buyer beware.

Does the trick no fuss! The only issue I have which is a 1st world issue is the adjustment screw doesn’t hold it together it always falls in half when I take it out of the Yak. I just drilled a seating hole where I need it to be and problem solved. And it’s much cheaper than others so bang for buck on point!

Bought for a little 10 foot kayak that weighs maybe 35kg fully loaded. Handles the load well and wheels are wide enough so that it doesn't sink in soft-ish sand a cruises over rocks pretty well. My only minor complaint would be that the fixing knob to control the width of the trolley doesn't fasten down tight enough, so I find myself re-adjusting the width each time I use it. Easy enough to do, so it's not really a big issue. There are some cheaper trolleys out there but with this being of a welded frame construction instead of bracket jointed I think it'll last well and be able to cop a beating.

This trolley does the trick, but it could do with something to keep the poles that go through the scupper holes aligned. The single screw to keep the two sides together and aligned doesn’t do a great job (it physically couldn’t). The design is just a bit off.
Absolute rubbish. The adjustable pole is too short to give any strength on a wider kayak. The locking screw comes loose over a distance, no matter how much you tighten it. Already rusting on the inside of the piping, will be rusted out within a year. If I’d paid about $50 I could live with it but $105 is daylight robbery.
I purchased this trolley after having so much trouble with another kayak trolley that I had. This trolley is so easy to use and the big wheels make it smoother to pull on different surfaces. It slides very easily into the drain holes in your kayak and you just have to lift the kayak up for the trolley to come back out. I would have given it a 5 star if not for the fact that the adjuster screw does not seem to stay tight. you need to re tighten it each time before use.
Recent purchase, used twice, easy to assemble, fit well, it was relatively easy to move the 2 seater kayak down and uphill with one person pushing or pulling. Also went over moderate bumps and uneven terrain well. Recommend.
I bought this last week. It has made it so easy to move my 4m kayak. My 6 year old wheeled it most of the way on our 1km walk to the water. My only gripe is the adjusting screw never holds. Not an issue when using it but ever time I take it off the kayak it came undone. When I got to the water I put the wheels in the back of the kayak. Very easy.
I had different trolley wheels to begin with. They were useless!! Read reviews on this design and it's SO much easier to get my kayak from the car to the water, but I agree with other reviews that it's annoying that the screw that should hold the wheels apart at the right distance for your kayak, comes loose with every use. But for me it's a small inconvenience. On the whole, I'm really happy I chose this design.
