Switched from the previous type primer that I really liked. As I could not order this product since it was discontinued I switched to the new GLO oil-free tinted primer. First time using the plunger did not work. Called and they said they would send a replacement. In the meantime managed to get some of the product out and applied. This did not work for me at all. Always used the discontinued product and loved this application.A replacement was sent to me that I returned unopened and I did not get a refund for the faulty plunger. Looking forward to receiving a credit for the returned product. Please do not send another new product as a replacement as it will be returned.Will you ever offer the discontinued product? I used to brag to everyone about this product. It felt like a lightweight mousse almost! Blended effortlessly and the shades were sheer enough to match a variety of skintones. The new shades are terrible. The "medium" has a grey cast (gross) and the "medium-deep" is orange. No in between. The texture is more watery and makes you look lifeless. The old formula wjtha. Quick sweep of the pressed mineral powder was perfection. Now I'm looking for a new product. Listen to your customers GLO. The new primer needs to go. Bring back the old formula!

I love this product. It goes on very smooth, has SPF, and hides redness and shine. It's hard to find sheer tinted matte coverage that is not caky like a foundation or sticky like a tinted moisturizer, and this fits the bill. I have found a few products over the years, and they are all eventually discontinued, so fingers crossed that this will stick around.All of that being said, the new packaging is HORRIBLE, which is why I'm giving it only 3 stars. I am on my third tube with the new packaging, and I have only gotten the pump to work halfway through one tube. The alternative is to just unscrew the cap and use your fingers, which is tedious. PLEASE reconsider it.

Incredible, incredible product. I LOVE that this has a high SPF in it! I also love that it's tinted -- on days I don't want to wear makeup, I can just put this on my face and get a little bit of coverage so my skin looks healthy & even. It smooths, blurs, and brightens, and works beautifully with Glo's HD stick foundation. I bought this on a whim and am so happy I did, I finally feel like I've found the right products for my incredibly temperamental skin. For reference, I am mid-30s with combo skin that tends to get pretty dry in the winter (Denver, CO), and is acne-prone. No breakouts, no irritation, just flawless looking makeup for the first time in YEARS. I am thrilled I found this brand, I have loved everything I've used from them! This primer is amazing -- get it!
Why do companies always have to reinvent products when they are already great? This was my go-to tinted primer for YEARS and now it's not the same. For one, it sounds like there's no spf anymore and I relied on that too. There's a lot of fancy flowery language about environmental protection and blue light to blur over the fact the spf seems to be in the C Brightener version now and not this primer.Besides valuable sun protection the old formula had the nicest velvety finish when blended over moisturizer and this new one doesn't. I don't need extra niacinimides and blue light protection in my primer. I need my base that I've been buying forever to be reliable.Also the new packaging is awful. It may seem like you're getting more product but the plastic pump lid does not really work and when you take it apart there isn't a nozzle all the way down into the tube, it is just a pump lid with a very short mechanism inside so not sure how we are supposed to get the product out of the tube when it's near the end other than removing the lid and squeezing like it's toothpaste or cutting the bottle apart and keeping it in an airtight container so it doesn't dry out and become clumpy and un-blendable.This retails with tax where I am for about $78 a tube and is no longer worth it. If I could return it I would. I will be switching to Zo Skin tinted primer with spf as soon as this is empty.
I got this is in the shade 2N, which is a perfect tweak from the product it replaced--Tinted Primer in shade Light. I was nervous ordering the new product as another reviewer noted the 2N is slightly darker. I put the new 2N on half my face and the older Light shade on the other half; I noticed a nice warmth to the 2N, while retaining a non-noticeable transition between my face and neck. Coverage is smooth, a little product goes a long way. It is so light and natural but gives me the daily SPF I need and now with the added Vitamin C protection. Perfect!
If you have sensitive acne prone skin like me but have always dreamed of having that polished airbrushed look this is THE primer for you!I just ❤ the way the OF Tinted Primer with SPF 30 was so easy to blend w/o leaving that sticky feeling on my face. It can be worn alone or under your C-Shield Anti-Pollution moisture Tint or other foundation & concealer of choice w/o flaking, or looking “Cakey”. it literally stands up to 8+ hrs. In Hawaii’s humid climate and easily comes completely off with your makeup remover. I have been using Glo products for years. I have dry, acne prone, sensitive skin. I was excited to receive the new kit containing the new oil free primer. I was using the original version in Light. I was reluctant at first. I wore the primer in Light/Medium under my Oil Free Moisturizer. It worked well together and it lasted all day no creasing. I also experimented with applying the primer under the compact foundation in Natural Medium. I found the primer color was a little too warm for my complexion. I would definitely purchase the Light color for fall/winter months. Overall, I found it to be non irritating, has great spf protection, and it does feel Light on the skin. I recommend trying it!
I was not expecting to love this primer as much as I do. I've been using $10 e.l.f. primer for eons with no complaints, so the pricetag on this was a little difficult to swallow especially when I wasn't expecting much difference. But I figured Glo has better ingredients, so take a shot. And wow. My Glo pressed base added on top of this just comes to life! I don't have to use as much when I pair it with this primer, and the smoothing, soft matte finish looks amazing. Not so happy with the price tag, but super happy with the results. I'm hoping the primer lasts a while though which will help me swallow the cost. I expect it will. Thankfully, all the Glo products I use tend to last several months.

I first used it on an exceptionally swampy, 90 degree July day. Per the "trial" instructions, I took photographs to document how it wore through the day. After 8 hours of heat and humidity, my makeup still looked fresh! Tinted Primer is an outstanding product, but at 56 I need a little more moisture. Ultimately I prefer to start with the C-Shield (my non-negotiable daily go-to) and then layer a small amount of the Tinted Primer on top... a little goes a very long way. The Tinted Primer makes my skin look absolutely flawless and locks cream blush down for the entire day!
