I bought this in hopes of stepping up my at home cutting skills. This knife is extremely sharp and perfect for everyday food preparation. I am highly impressed with this knife and intend to buy several more from this brand.

I have actually purchased two of these knives on the advice of Uncle Tony. The first, I gave as a gift to my brother in law who loved it. I used it too and liked it so much I bought one for myself.It?s incredibly nimble and sharp. The truth is that I own chef knives that cost 5 and 6 times what this one does and it does just as good a job. The minimalist handle is easy to hold and you will never miss a more traditional handle.

Anthony Bourdain chose these knives to use himself! And he was right. Solid sand filled handles for balance. Small inset "dots" for grip. No place for food to get stuck like knives with wooden handles. And they not only ARE sharp but they LOOK sharp as well! Can't go wrong with these "best for value" knives!

I bought this 6" kitchen knife after my experience with the 10' Global sushimi knife. That sushimi knife is constantly the sharpest knife in my block and I wanted something smaller to use every day.
This is my third global knife and I really like them. This is the smaller version of the classic knife chef which works nicely for chopping fruit and smaller vegetables. Definitely recommend

I don’t know why I didn’t try these knives before it’s my loss. This knife is extremely sharp and very light. Not weak but light weight, just what I need so my hand does not gettired early. I love prepping but sometimes with my heavier knives my hand tends to tire out not so with these. I love it. It’s the first knife I reach for when I start cooking. Glad I made this purchase. I can slice grapes paper thin lol not that there is a need to, just fun to do.
This knife is worth every single penny. It’s become my new go-to. I use it every single day and no longer have frustration when chopping. I’m planning on getting the entire set after using this one because the quality is unmatched. Would highly recommend!
Besides being easier to handle, it has no screws IN it's handle which makes for a longer lasting knife. My old chef's knife, which was a fairly well reviewed brand, does not have any of its 3 screws left in its handle and I had to sharpen any time I used it. This one solid piece knife is the way to go.
Global knives are the BEST! I have purchased other global knives and used daily for everywhere. Easy to use and care. Tips, make sure bring it to a professional cutler and sharpen it with a sharpening steel at home once in a while. You can use it lifelong!
