The Primo Lights scooter for kids from Globber is designed to give the smallest of riders a great first time experience with scootering. All parts have been carefully constructed to ensure a safe and fun ride. The deck is low and therefore easy to get on to. It also helps your child gather speed more easily since the push height is not that tall. The steering of this Globber scooter can be locked with a simple push of a button. This makes it a lot more stable going straight. The height of the bar can be adjusted allowing the scooter to grow alongside your child. An added stability feature of the Primo scooter is the 3-wheeled setup. This eliminates the need for teaching your child how to balance a scooter thus making it a lot more easy to learn how to ride. This Lights edition comes with wheels that brighten up your day with dazzling colorful lights. A simple spin of the wheel activates LED lights inside the wheel for a cool effect.

Seems very well made, reasonably priced considering the future usage we'll likely get (good height adjustment will last a while). I like the fact you can 'fold' the handle (to be clear, it doesnt actually fold - there's a button you press to release the handle, turn it around and click it back in the wrong way around to store more compactly... then repeat in reverse to restore to usual riding position). It's heavier than similar models (micro) and the footplate is slightly on a cambre which makes it less stable unless wearing very grippy shoes but not dramatically so. Less clearance ubder footplate than other versions too which is generay fine on very flat surfaces but slight bumps and tree roots (which we have a LOT of on UK pavements!) do make it more challenging ... MoreSeems very well made, reasonably priced considering the future usage we'll likely get (good height adjustment will last a while). He loves the wheel LEDs which are super bright, brake seems ok, not as effective as the micro but probably because this model is a little bigger and heavier. Overall pleased with the purchase and very happy with click and collect service from Smyths which was really easy and efficient.

Very easy to ride for her so she is so happy every time especially on the evening when she can see colourful lights on the wheels.Scooter is Very solid.Beautiful light pink colour.Highly recommended.

I bought two of these for my boys, one is 2.5, the other is 5.5 They both quickly learned how to use the scooter as they had never tried one before. They LOVED the lights, the ability to change the handlebar height is key for the longevity of them using it long-term. The colours we bought, blue and green, are striking and modern. Taking the scooter apart for transportation was SUPER easy, and we were happy to load them up to take with us on a trip so the boys could scooter around. The lean-to-turn is still a wee bit tricky for my 5.5yr old, but again, he has only had a scooter for a few weeks so I'm sure he'll adjust soon.

Great scooter

It is a bit pricey. We haven’t tried cheaper scooters but I am unsure if this is much more advanced for a kids scooter. We have this one because we purchased a Globber for my daughter years ago. My son really enjoys this so far! It is easy to put together.

So great I purchased two!
16 February 2021

This scooter is very well made. It stands up to daily use. We have older kids in the house ranging upwards of 150 lbs and they also are hopping on this scooter daily. In particular the kids like the turning mechanism and the scooter seems very well balanced. We have a four year old and she gained confidence on this really quickly. Our family enjoyed the scooter so much I bought a second one. So far, the light up wheels and all features of the scooter are holding up great! Because of the pandemic, we’ve been using the scooter as an inside toy for about six months. It looks like the day we bought it even with heavy use.5/5 would recommend!

A great purchase. This really works well for my family member whom hasn’t got the best balance due to physical problems. The two front wheels provide much better balance than the usual two wheel scooters we’ve tried. The flashing lights are also great. One thing I like is the how compact this can be packed down to. Takes no space at all in a vehicle while taking 0 effort to pack down and back up again.I’d highly recommend this product for children up to 10 probably, my family member is a tall 8 year old and works great.

Well made scooter
25 January 2023

We bought this scooter for our granddaughter. We were pleased to see how sturdy the build of the scooter is; the handle height is adjustable to suit the height of the child, the grips are chunky so you can get your hands round them. The lights on the wheels make the scooter very attractive. We chose the pink colour. Very easy to put together.

[Rewarded Review] An absolutely brilliant, safe, and fun toy!

This scooter was most definitely designed with both, parents and kids, in mind. The handle bars are perfect because they are adjustable, which meant that both of my young children were able to ride this even though they are different heights. It has a very powerful rear foot break which I witnessed my kid using and I can vouch for it's effectiveness. The ingenious engineers thought of everything, including an easy to click button which allows the scooter to have more range of motion or forces it to go straight only. I really love the straight lock setting for when my very little one is using it so that he doesn't veer off the path. I'm still amazed by the light-up wheels which are a great safety feature for nights out with the kids. I can see exactly where they are ... MoreThis scooter was most definitely designed with both, parents and kids, in mind. I can see exactly where they are and I can't believe that they really don't need any batteries, but it's true, they don't need any!!! And best of all, this is totally compact and transportable, so easy, that my little ones have been taking it everywhere since we got it. This toy is the definition of ingenuity and innovation.

The Globber Primo Foldable Kick Scooter is great for small kids and kids just learning how to use one, the steering can be locked in one direction so it is easy for first timers to learn how to ride them and it can be unlocked when they know how. The handle can be raised and lowered to be adjusted for growing with them and assembly is quick and easy. It weighs in at only 5.5 lbs. so it is very portable and the handle foods down for easy storage. The weight limit is 110 lbs. The lights work right out of the box and turn on and off with the turning of the wheels. The deck is wide and had a anti slip grip on it and metal reinforced so it is safer and the built in brake is easy to use. All in all it is a great starter scooter and very durable. From a parents point of view this scooter was a breeze to put together. It comes in 2 pieces. After you snap the handlebar stick into the base all that's left to do is adjust the height of the handlebar. The handlebar can be easily taken off and put in the opposite way to "fold" it down.As for my son he loves his scooter. His eyes still light up when the wheels do. It took him a little while to get used to scootering because all he wanted to do was look down at the light up wheels. It took him a day or two to get the hang of having one foot in front of the other on the base. He is still working on using the back brake. He still puts his foot down on the ground to stop. It is his new preferred method of transportation so his tricycle has been permanently ... MoreFrom a parents point of view this scooter was a breeze to put together. It comes in 2 pieces. My daughter had another brand and she would constantly stop to turn. I would say this is an excellent first scooter option. Great handling, turning, and adjustments make it the cadillac in my opinion.
