Definitely made for right handed people

The shape threw me off since I'm used to ambidextrous mouses like the model o and the model d is a right hand mouse. So it gave me some time to get used to. For one, it is noticeable that its lighter but the weight difference isn't something that I'd claim really say is mindblowing. For reference its almost half of my old mouse. So I have a medium size hand to which I use a fingertip grip so it was weird feeling how high my pointer was for clicking, but the mouse does seem to be making movements faster by a sec or two due to the weight and the feet. I would suggest adding the additional feet as it makes it feel much smoother and easier to use. If you want a more grippy feel, don't add them. This is a conscious effort on my part since I'm playing mostly fps games and ill stagger tracking someone so I can think about moving the mouse back. But most of the critique seems to be a more personal issue than the mouse. Even though the mouse is for medium and large hands, I felt at first it was too big and the height between the right and left clicks was a issue. I was going to buy a d- but I didn't see it at the store (in hindsight I could have just asked). Now I'm used to it and I can just grab and go with it. There is the issue I have where the small times I do squeeze the mouse, the right side of it where my fingers would rest audibles creaks and you feel a little dip into the frame. Not enough to say its bad but you notice it. EDIT: Now that I have gotten used to it, the mouse is noticeably lighter than my past mouse which was a Steelseries Sensei Raw. I will saw reaction times for left click was much quicker but my hand just wants to press right click when I dont necessarily need to. The highlight of the experience is the mouse feet. The glide is really good, makes moving it almost unnoticeable and the mouse wire is almost frictionless making it almost feel wireless. If you want a better feeling, set up a mouse bungee but I felt fine without it. I feel that people already used to right handed mice will love the Model D.

Great mouse, worth the money

I recently picked up this mouse from Micro Center, and could not be happier with my purchase. I have only had this mouse for a few weeks at this point, so things could change in the future, but I will list the pros and cons that I have found so far. Pros: -Excellent cable, could barely tell a difference between this and my wireless mouse -lightweight, not the lightest mouse on the market but definitely does not weigh much. -Great buttons, crisp and with very short travel -RGB -very good mouse feet Cons: -Having a honeycomb shell, dust is able to make it's way inside the mouse. This shouldn't be a big deal as dust can be blown away with compressed air, but this is something to note -Scroll click has a strong spring, and the mouse wheel rolls easily. The result is my finger will occasionally roll down the scroll wheel instead of pressing the scroll button. This is something that will probably resolve itself over time though, so not a big deal.

Light and accurate, but feels cheaply made

Coming from a non-lightweight Logitech mouse, I expected a drop in overall quality, of which I did observe. The "Lightness" feeling also meant that the mouse felt cheaper, which I guess I can't complain much about. However, the thumb side of the mouse has started audibly creaking every time slight pressure is applied to the side of the mouse, hence the three stars. RGB looks good however and the sensor accuracy is also excellent. Cable is also very nice. Software is nice and lightweight and does the job. Do buy if you want a very light competitive FPS mouse, don't buy if you are a casual gamer expecting something high quality and nice to hold when you are gaming.

I had a previous gaming mouse that started having some button issues so I decided to get a new one. I did some research and discovered that this mouse and its company had some good reviews. My first impression of this mouse is that it is extremely light, which fits my play style. I play a good number of fps games so I need to move my mouse quickly and suddenly at times. I had read in some reviews that this version of the Model D was a good size for people with larger hands. I had reserved the Matte Black version of the Model D online, but a day before I could pick it up; I was reached out to by Micro Center who explained that they could not find that version of the mouse. They offered to replace this version of the mouse with the Glossy Black version, which is a bit more expensive, at the same price of the previously reserved mouse. I am impressed by how Micro Center handled their mistake and I only have good things to say about their employees at the store. Overall, I have so far extremely satisfied with my purchase and will likely be a returning customer for either this product or other IT products that I may need in the future.

Not a bad choice!

I picked this mouse up to compare it with a recently purchased HyperX Pulsefire Haste. A friend of mine recommended the Model O but I decided on this one due to it’s more ergonomic design as I have big hands. This is a great mouse, super fast and accurate and the cord is phenomenal. It looks great too, with the led lights that are nice and bright (you can adjust brightness in the app). What I dislike about it is the following: 1) there is a bit of play on the M1 button that, to me, is noticeable enough to bother me. 2) Creaking. The side where my thumb rests creaks and flexes under a small amount of pressure. The HyperX in comparison has a much sturdier build and very nice switches, but it’s not as ergonomic as the Model D due to its ambidextrous housing design and has a minimalist led lighting setup.

It's got holes in the top, smaller than I'd been using, way lighter, and has Hagrid on the side. But at the price, it wasn't a bad buy. Take it home, spend a few minutes adjusting and-it's good. The holes, you don't notice. Light but also very smooth and flickable. The face? Okay, can't have it all . . . The RGB's not offensive and the software doesn't keep trying to do everything (looking at you, Razer). The DPI indicator is on the bottom, which means you have to flip the mouse over to see it. The buttons and scroll wheel have a nice solid feel, and the braided cord is very light and doesn't drag. Of the mice I've used the last year, it's lighter, smaller, and the software is less irritating than the Razer Deathadder that I swore was God's mouse. Perfect Budget Mouse

This has a great feel with it's ergonomic shape and can support gripping styles (claw, palm or fingertip), the RGB is pretty nice though it sacrifices a tiny bit on the build, you can actually press on the sides and if you do it hard enough it will press on the side buttons, but that doesn't make a difference in game or with normal use at all. The DPI button felt nice when pressing it but I did find that I accidently pressed it regularly so It could have been moved back to avoid accidental presses. This mouse is amazing for the price and definitely doesn't brake the bank at around $79AUD and is a great all rounder mouse, their is a reason why gamers all over the world love this mouse.

I originally got this mouse as something to try that was different from what I was used to (Logitech G Pro Hero). The sensor is solid, the cable is actually really good, the feet were nice and smooth during use, the buttons were responsive, the scroll wheel was pleasant with the right amount of stiffness, and the weight was actually nicer than I thought it was going to be. The build quality is decent, but not the greatest as you can get some creaking if you squeeze it in the right places. Not a dealbreaker. The software works well enough and I like that the software isn’t necessary to keep it installed in order to use the mouse as you want. Ultimately the shape wasn’t for me. This mouse is leaps and bounds more enjoyable to use than the G502. This lightweight mouse glides effortlessly across my mouse mat and the synchronization between my movement and the pointer on-screen feels very accurate. The DPI can be easily adjusted to different presets with a single button behind the scroll wheel. And you can fine tune those presets to your preference in the software that this mouse uses. Macros are also very easy to assign to any of the buttons. For example, I play Star Wars: The Old Republic and I like to have my number one attack on the forward side button. The RGB is also controlled in the same software and it is very easy to operate. The mouse itself is very lightweight at around 68 grams, so it's perfect for First Person Shooter games when quick flick-shots are a necessity. In my opinion, the mouse is much more comfortable than the G502 that I had been using before, but everyone's hands are different so your mileage may vary. Included in the box are additional glide pads that really do a great job at gliding over the mouse mat The scroll wheel is also very comfortable for my tastes. The button clicks are very smooth crisp. They feel of very high quality. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their mouse, whether its for work or play. It looks amazing, and it fits my hand like a glove. One potential criticism of the mouse is the honeycomb design of the shell. It could be a challenge to properly clean. In my case, I don't see that as an issue as I'm not much of a sweater, and I tend to keep my hands very clean.
