Well researched and scientific book, a must if you have diabetes or are pre- diabetic . Easy to understand and put into practice a compelling and enthralling read from cover to cover .
Very easy hacks to improve your health you can start before reading the whole book. The book easy to read and I felt better immediately (using the order of food hack) a headache when my body started to withdraw from sugar but improved sleep, concentration and mood. You can still eat cake! Just adding more vegetables has improved my diet and hopefully I can keep it up permanently. Great support online in socials after you read the book which is a very quick easy read.
Best book I have ever read regarding weight loss. It is life changing. A few easy steps and your weight problems are over. No more diets and resultant bingeing.
I loved this book. It's science in a friendly way. Have encouraged my friends to buy it - already lent my copy to a sibling. Best bit was the authors subtle humour, the graphs and the explanations. This book reminded me of what I'd forgotten about the biology of glucose - certainly enjoyed reading it, changed the way I eat as a result, (I understand how to eat carbohydrates better). - it is NOT a diet book!
I felt that this was pretty generic and the book in my opinion is not well crafted. Did not learn much from it. I passed it on to my daughter to encourage her to be more mindful of nutrition.
Book in great condition but not able to comment as I have have not yet read all of the book. So far so good though.
I was referred to a Dietician as I was told by my Doctor that I was prediabetic. I got lots information about what I can and cannot eat and told to come back in a months time to see how I'm going. I then saw this book and read it in 2 days and it just made sens! I began to realise that I could do this and it was achievable. I lost 4 kilos in my first week, my vegetable eating expanded and I starting exercising on my treadmill. My husband now follows the new eating plan and we feel so much better for it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking at wanting to lower their glucose readings or just to reduce the damage done by glucose spikes.
