GME TX3100 Value Pack is a complete in-vehicle 5 watt UHF CB setup: the super compact TX3100DP radio supplied with an antenna and mounting bracket, ready to fit to a work vehicle. It suits traffic control, civil and fleet vehicles, as well as 4WD and touring use. 5 watts is the maximum transmit power allowed for UHF CB in Australia, so the TX3100 runs at the top of the legal range across all 80 UHF CB channels (476.425 to 477.4125 MHz). UHF CB operates under the ACMA citizen band class licence, so there is no individual licence and no fee. The radio uses a super compact chassis with front-mounted controls and a display flip function, so it fits neatly into a modern dash. Digital Signal Processing keeps received audio clear, and there is a built-in speaker plus a socket for an external speaker. It runs on 12V DC (10 to 14V), negative earth, with an in-line 2 amp fuse.
