I feel at ease using these pegs, knowing that unlike plastic pegs, these ones will not break apart with exposure to the sun- and even if they do (which is unlikely), they will eventually decompose. Mine have lasted for over a year, and still look and feel brand new. They are very durable (as long as you don't twist them as they are held together by a small metal piece), and they hold your clothes securely to the line in windy weather. I have had them out in the rain at times, and they have not shown any sign of deterioration. Definitely will continue to buy this product.

While they are a good peg. I brought to top up my peg baskets with 2 in cloth nappies. Used once they just aren’t as strong or sturdy. Spent the extra on stainless instead.

Beautiful product, love the bamboo. I'm so fed up with broken plastic pegs I have been checking out other options. I recently bought some metal ones, they're great but a bit sharp around the edges and have damaged some clothes. The bamboo ones are a great alternative as they are very gentle to fabric but have a strong hold. My only query is how environmentally friendly are they? Designed in NZ and made in China??
