I purchased this light several weeks ago when on sale and it's been my go to for all online video conferencing. Being able to setup this light on a tabletop tripod or included stand is simple and can be done in portrait of landscape mode. It allows you to get the orientation you desire without frustration. The killer feature is the detachable module on the back that controls the color temperature and intensity. It charges while mounted on the back and is attached magnetically.when detached it is connected wirelessly and you have full control of the light, power on off, color and light intensity. I love it so much I will be purchasing another. Don't hesitate to purchase!

I went to the Strobepro retail store in Calgary looking for a ring light but walked out with something much better.I met Tracy in the showroom, and after some questions about what I was planning on doing with the lights he suggested that rather than using a ring light, I would get better results with the Godox ES45 Bi-Colour LED Light Kit. His advice was spot on!One of the challenges for me is that I wear glasses so a ring light was going to be problematic with glare and reflections. The ES54 solves this problem as it comes with a mount that allows you to clamp it to a table or desk and then telescope it up to a max of about three feet. The light is fully adjustable for brightness and colour temperature which I found easy to use and accurate.My favorite feature of the light however is the detachable control modal. I bought two of these lights and the control module allows you to lock the lights together and use a single control module for both or you can have them on different channels for individual control. This is a huge time saver as can sit at my desk and dial in my settings while looking at my live camera image.If you are looking for an affordable and versatile LED lighting panel the Godox ES45 is a great choice.

I love this light. I was originally going to purchase the Elgato Key Light, but I didn't like how you had to connect the lights to the wifi network. I'm glad I went with Godox. Godox ES45 has a wireless transmitter that can turn on the light and change the white balance. And with you have the option of connecting via cellphone app. The stand is well made and works well. It is almost half the price of the Elgato Keylight. Strongly recommended.

As far as build quality and features, Godox dunks Elgato Key Light Air, but you lose the Stream Deck connectivity. With the detachable digital controls, you gain a more exact setting w Godox and overall it feels like a better product. I'm testing both now for my home studio (I lead a team who produce large global virtual meetings) and while more expensive by 100 bucks, I think Godox wins. I'm amazed players like Aputure aren't in the desktop lighting game.
Good light, nice wireless controls, compact.Easy to control.Easy to mount onto a fiber board desk. A bit worried with the weight of the item but so far so good.The light is very large, but once mounted on the side it is out of the way.Value for money, I think that's where I don't love it.B&H did okay on delivery, they are always closing for random holidays though so I won't be shopping much here anymore.
Light was exactly as promoted - a compact, powerful LED panel with sleek design and very useful remote wireless controls. The battery life of the remote is amazing. I've used the light every day for three weeks and the battery still shows 2 of 3 bars of charge. Recharging is easy - you just magnetically attach the unit to the back of the ES45 unit.My only point of concern is that the diffuser isn't as effective at softening the output as I had hoped. The light is very directional and casts hard shadows. I'd recommend either getting a second unit (which pair together nicely using the group/channel function) or bouncing the light off another surface, as I am doing.

The remote control is just incredible in terms of workflow. I would advise all manufacturers to forget about phone integrations and just use good old remote controls. We NEVER EVER use our other lights that are dependent on an application you must run in your phone. And we couldn't live now without this Godox light and its tiny remote. Plus, the fact of the remote being charged automatically is another great thing. If you are like us and don't ever remember to purchase batteries for lights' remotes, then you will appreciate the workflow this one offers.
I love this light! It's turned my Logitech 1080 webcam into a beast! No more focus issues, zero blur, steady & controllable light as well. The telescope is adjustable with three pieces/two knuckles and reaches far above my raised monitor. Easy to attach to my standing desk and heavier than I expected. Love this - has made an instant difference on my video calls. High quality and a steal at this price.
Compact, flexible, rugged and lightweight. And low-cost at that. I use with a Camvate 1/4-20 ball-head light stand mount to provide easy tilt and fit to a Flashpoint 9.5-foot stand. The included desk stand works well, but is only as stable as the desk. I appreciate the power cords that are about 12 feet long in total, reducing the need for extension cords. The detachable, wireless controls work very well. Note that a bag for a 15-inch laptop holds two of these just fine.
