The lights aren't super bright through a softbox, another 100watts would be nice but that's was kind of expected. The reflector creates a hotspot. This may help them bolster their stats but it's kind of useless. The app is awful.Firstly the app wants to know your location... Why? Why do you need my location? You don't. Don't nag me for things you don't need and shouldn't have access to.Secondly I can't figure out how to pair it. My phone sees bluetooth devices, even the lights, but the Godox Light app does not. It doesn't see anything.

Love this light! It is very small but puts out bright, clean and accurate light. The addition of Bi-Color adds to the versatility and the app works very well for controlling the light remotely. The fan is very quiet and has has a very soft, barely perceptible sound. This is a big improvement over my older SL60W lights which now seem underpowered and loud in comparison but will still serve me well as fill lights for product shots.

Great kit for the price, light stands are very lightweight, light boxes are good quality. For the price of two lights you get the boxes and stands free so invest in some good stands and you're good to go.

I'm very pleased with this light. I'm using it for video, so I was a little concerned about having a light with a fan, but it's so quiet that it's not a factor. The light quality is great and the adjustability is excellent.
I used this light on my interior photoshoots the day it arrived. With the reflector the intensity of the light is way stronger then I anticipated. Not to mention the luxury of being able the output in small increments and control color temperature. Highly recommended.
I've been using this as a key light for my YouTube channel over the last 9 months and its been great. I like I can balance the color with my room lights if I have to. Bright enough to keep my ISO down, but not so bright it hurts. Generates some heat and noise, but not enough to affect my vocals (and I don't use background music). One thing is my umbrella, which fits my photography strobes, doesn't fit into this light without a lot of force because the hole is too narrow compared to the shaft of the umbrella. It works, but I fear I'll bend it one day.
For years I've been wanting to use continuous lights for studio photography, but halogen was a non-starter, and the cost of bright enough LED's kept putting me off. I am so glad I waited for these! The Litemons 200 are more than bright enough for sharp images with shudder speeds in the 1/200th to 1/800th of a second at f/5.6-f/8, using an ISO of (so far) no more than 320. Work great with umbrellas. The Godox Fresnel is amazing for concentrating and intensifying the beam. Aputure barndoor with black reflector produces sharp barndoor cuts and works exactly as hoped. And the Godox VSA 36-degree Spotlight is also amazing with these.Another worthwhile accessory is the affordable Godox 7 inch reflector with a hole for an umbrella, something the included reflector ... MoreFor years I've been wanting to use continuous lights for studio photography, but halogen was a non-starter, and the cost of bright enough LED's kept putting me off. This reflector also holds my old set of 7 inch grids!Build quality is tight and seems very good. The light stand mount is better than on my Einstein 640's--strong and easy to use. The handle on top of the light makes for great ergonomics. The fan seems very quiet compared to my Paul C Buff lights (especially the DigiBee), but I am a photographer, not a videographer. That said, I believe if the lights are back a bit from subject's microphone, the fan would not be an issue. How nice it is to have lights this bright which weigh only three pounds, as I tend to raise and lower my lights a lot during sessions. (I haven't tried the app yet for adjusting power. I hope it works in a reliable, straightforward manner.) One little negative is the strap and cable provided to keep the powerbrick dangling from a lightstand knob, but I have ordered a TetherTools Strapmoore, which looks perfect for keeping the brick tight against the pole. All in all, this is a superb way to incorporate continuous lighting into a studio. Being able to shoot without recycle concerns (even bursts!), being able to use my mirrorless camera indoors as if I were outdoors, making adjustments in-camera instead of frequently adjusting strobes, and, very importantly, being able to see brightly exactly where light and shadow falls on a subject it is liberating! So much more relaxed and fun to work. (But I am NOT giving up my beloved strobes. They have their place, for sure.)Thanks to B&H lighting department for so many patient phone sessions as I gathered information during the decision process.
This is a fantastically powerful little light for a great price, at least when I bought it on DealZone. It has great effects including storm and fire/candle. And CCT variable from 2300 to 6500. My only drawback is that the controls are on the back of the light, not an in-line module, and the only remote is through bluetooth with a phone so when it is raised up high, it can't be controlled except by bluetooth.
It's amazing the quality and accurate these lights are. They do the work and best part is the easy usage when you download the app and control the dim at uncomfortable places
I?ve been using this light for the past 6 months as my main key light for very large wedding reception or event areas. I like to say it?s overkill but in the best way. It?s also great for bouncing off ceilings or walls for a different diffused look too. It?s small, super powerful, the app is responsive for color control & brightness, which is super convenient, it?s quiet & doesn?t overheat. Use this in conjunction with the ML60Bi for an awesome light ecosystem.Only downside is the inability to use a V-mount battery with this light, as it has a 48v input. However, you could use with a power station for added mobility. But the included cable is already very long and most venues have an outlet to plug in to.
