Godox X3C X3 C X3-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Compatible with Canon Cameras, OLED Touchscreen Flash Transmitter, Built-in Lithium Battery Support

I have two other Godox Xpro flash triggers for my Nikon and Panasonic cameras, but they have lots of buttons so changing settings can be slow and a pain on studio nights at the photography club. I wanted the new X3 with its touch screen because it is far quicker to change settings and the menu layout is much better and easier to set up. It took about two minutes to go though all the settings and set it ready to use without looking at the instructions. Its just like using your mobile phone, its that easy to use.

Easy to Use, Touch and Drag

Very easy to use. Assign a channel, set up your flashes in groups then touch and drag. Test shoot, and adjust as necessary. You can increase the output of all, or change groups individually, all with a few touches.

Finally HSS on Canon R3 in TTL

Until now it was impossible to get HSS in TTL on my Canon mirrorless cameras (R6 & R3) with Godox flash units. The Xnano works flawlessly and I love the new screen and small size. I wasn't sure I would like the touch screen but found out I can simply tap the + / - key to adjust it.

Genuinely Impressed

This little thing is magical compared to the other Godox triggers I've used. Super easy to use and the built in rechargeable battery is a dream. Form factor is so much smaller that I forget it's on the camera. This thing is really a no-brainer for Godox users.

Godox X3-C Touchscreen Radio Trigger Controller - Canon

The X3 is a great alternative to the X Pro which I was using before. The touch screen and the scroll wheel make selections easier. It can be attached and removed from a camera with one hand and the carrying case is an added bonus when packing it. As usual, StrobePro turnaround was fast and problem free. I have been dealing here for years and will continue to do so.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing Little Trigger

I've been using Godox Flashes and Triggers every since they came out. I have never had any issues. The only thing is the size (which wasn't a problem). So I picked up this little guy and it works perfectly. I love how compact it is and how easy it is to use. The simple fact it's touch screen is perfect. It also had a small knob on it you can use if you'd like. It works so good I order a 2nd one. Also a major plus is it no longer needs batteries. It's rechargeable. So that saves $$$ in the long run.

[Rewarded Review] Great, small trigger for Godox!

I have used the XT1 and XT2 triggers, and though it is nice to have actual buttons vs the touch screen on this, this little unit is much smaller on the camera, so it barely gets in the way. I'm doubtful that I'll be able to use this when the weather gets colder and I have to wear gloves, but for warmer weather, it is great!

This is the first transmitter that does HSS on my Canon mirrorless bodies without setting the camera to fully manual. So no more carrying variable ND filters anymore. Plus I love the small form factor and no more AA batteries. The bright and easy-to-read screen is just great for outdoor shoots too. I highly recommend it!

Full-time real estate photographer with a flash-ambient workflow, which means I'm on and off the trigger constantly...100 or more times per day.The biggest problem with the X3 for my workflow is that there is no graceful way to quickly do this. The older Godox models all have a switch on them, and they boot instantly. The X3 has neither of those things. The closest you're going to find to a momentary kill switch is a pause button, which does just that. BUT, if you pause instead of powering all the way down, your camera will still see it as an active trigger in the shoe, which could screw up your metering, shutter speed etc depending on your camera and settings. This requires a long press to shut down or to boot up, and the latter will then flash a branded splash screen for a second before the trigger is able to be used.Finally, nothing on this is tactile like the OG ones, meaning if my camera is in an awkward position there's no way to tell if it's on, off, paused etc by feel. You need to physically see that tiny screen to discern that (and yes, I know there's an app...but no).The unit it's self is attractive and feels very well made. Much more so than the plasticky OG triggers, and I'm sure it will work well for some photographers, but if you're like me and are on and off the trigger quickly all the time, look elsewhere.

After I spent some good coin upgrading from the Canon EOS 5d Mk4 to the EOS R5 I found out that all my triggers would not work properly with all of my Godox flash when I try to work with ETTL/High Speed Sync. I was quite upset as all my off camera strobes as well as my on camera speedlights were Godox.Godox finally release an update which helped. I saw a review of this trigger and the person stated that this worked better than the old X1T C which I used. They were correct. This trigger works great with the R5 and it is way easier to adjust on the fly. Much easier to adjust the group settings if you are using multiple flashes.Only draw back I have is the quality. Feels very cheap.
