Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers 40 Black,White Leather

These aren’t your typical, pricey kicks. They come with a “worn” type of look— which I happen to love! You don’t have to worry too much about getting them dirty, scuffing them up, or in my specific case my dogs stomping on the toes! They’re super comfortable and didn’t need to be broken in, very stylish, and look great!

It was definitely stretch for me for the price point but I’ve wanted GG tennis shoes for a few years and now I wish I bought them much sooner. My normal size is US 7.5 and I have slightly wide feet so some brands, I would wear size 8. I purchased 38 for this one and it fits perfect paring with no show socks. No breaking in needed what do ever. At first, I thought the soles are a little stiff and hard to walk on but it became unnoticeable with in a hour or so. I would love to get another pair of GG in different style very soon. IMO, money well spent!

I love white sneakers and this is one of my favorites! I try to avoid wearing boots in the winter and would wear sneakers if its safe. But man this shoe is good for snow and ice pathways (of course not the deep snow), I never slide on them. I also wore this when we were driving out of town and I was wearing this while driving for 4 hours! My feet wasn't at all uncomfy! I want to get a second and third pair because its really worth it!

I love the look of my Golden Goose Superstars. You can dress them up with skirts and dresses or down with jeans and a t-shirt and they just look good. That being said, they are just not comfortable to wear. I thought after wearing them several times that they would “break in” and become a little less stiff but that just hasn’t happened. I have heard that the ones that are a mix of leather and suede are a little more comfortable. This pair is all white leather and just hasn’t budged to break in. I probably won’t order another pair.

If you have ANY reservations about spending the money on these....DON’T! They’re so fun, versatile, stylish, and must of all, COMFY!! I am an 8-8.5 in most shoes, and purchased the 39. So glad I did! My collection has grown in a couple weeks. I also love that I don’t have to worry about getting them dirty because they come dirty! 😂 Well, maybe I should phrase that differently… not dirty, but “worn in.”

I don't get it with these. Maybe it's just me? Maybe my feet are too fat? Maybe my arches are too high? Maybe I just don't get the dirty sneaker look? I don't know, but these were a no for me. I bought them and they sit in my closet. I would sell them, but they are like buying a boat, they immediately dropped in value after they left the store. Ultimately, I don't think they are comfortable, and I don't think they look great on me. But hey, you do you.

It probably sounds crazy to spend $400+ on a pair of sneakers, but I’m all about cost per wear. That said, the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are worth every penny in my opinion. I’ve had mine and they’ve all held up incredibly well even though I’ve worn them a ton. If you see yourself wearing them a few times a week, they’re definitely worth buying. I think it’s also important to note that these sneakers are hand made with high-quality Italian leather, which also justifies the higher price point.

These Golden Goose are a pleasant departure from the typical feel of most designer sneakers. These feel great right out of the box. The leather is soft and supple. The packaging is not good compared to other brands in this price point, but thats not super important to me.

Second pair pretty awesome !!

These are fantastic shoes but on the pricey side. There ’s other brands that make excellent shoes for much less but as an owner of two-pairs the experience consistent with the highest level of craftsmanship and quality. It would be nice if they actually went on sale once in a blue moon. However, I feel they are worth it and they will last for years but order a 1/2 size up. There’s something special about them.

Worth The Hype

I surprised my husband with these because I own two pairs myself and thought he would like them. Let’s just say he was not too happy when he opened the box and saw what he describes as “beat-looking” shoes. Fast forward to less than a month and these are my husband’s go-to sneakers for everything from dinner to hanging with the boys or running our weekend errands — he just cannot take them off. He’s told me that he found them surprisingly comfortable, he feels that it goes with everything to create a “humble” look, and he gets a ton of compliments (which I personally feel is the real reason they are now permanently attached to his foot). I am now off to get a second pair. Highly recommend. If in-between sizes, size up if you wear with socks.
