The MCC Plus 4 Align has:1) Multicompound composite with cord to ensure grip in all weather conditions2) Plus 4 with less taper on the bottom of the grip ensure you keep light pressure on the lower hand to promote a less “handsy” swing3) the Align spine on the bottom ensures confidence you have a square gripBuying it from Dicks, Golf Galaxy or one of the authorized dealers will ensure you do not get a counterfeit product. There are many counterfeit grips oj eBay. Buying from Dicks ensured authentic products and they shipped via FedEx and I received it in 3 days.

I'm a senior golfer that has been playing golf since I was eight. I do all my own club work. Been playing MCC +4's since they hit the market. Love them. Decided to try the MCC +4 ALIGN on my Driver and Fairway clubs. I still like these grips but I can not really feel the ridge. The ridge is just barely raised and for the most part imperceptible. Perhaps Golf Pride wanted to allow for varied hand placement but that defeats the purpose. Most golfers seldom open and close "woods"! What you want in a wood grip is stabilization. But the ridge provides little if any. Perhaps it's a conforming issue? Again, love the MCC +4's. As far as ALIGN, no harm no foul! However, they do look good on my white Aeroburners!!!

Five days ago I gave these grips a 4 star rating after play them for the first time. Over the weekend I played several more rounds with them, and I must say I warmed up to them and feel they deserve 5 stars. My original issue was that the rib was, "imperceptible". However the more I played them the more I felt the subdual shaping that the rib confers to the back of the grip (I play without a glove). It's not so much that you "feel" the rib. It's more about how the rib changes the grips contour (i.e., like a traditional rib/rod that's placed under the grip). I get it! And I'm now a big fan!

Hot cars and golf grips...No Bueno
14 November 2022

In continuation of my earlier review where I explained that my MCC +4 Midsize grips came factory installed on my Taylormade P790's, I still find them to be the best all around grips I've ever used. As I have explained before, I am meticulous in caring for my grips. I wash my hands after applying sunscreen or if I've touched anything that might contaminate the integrity of the grip's tackiness. I lay them on a towel if I have to put them on the ground rather than straight back in the bag. Wipe them with a dampened towel before taking a shot especially during play on hot, humid days. Take off the glove between shots and replace it after around ten rounds or as soon as it isn't fresh and tacky anymore. I really do.The one thing I didn't do to maintain the integrity ... MoreIn continuation of my earlier review where I explained that my MCC +4 Midsize grips came factory installed on my Taylormade P790's, I still find them to be the best all around grips I've ever used. I really do.The one thing I didn't do to maintain the integrity of my grips was take them inside after returning home. They lived in the back of my car all summer long and it taught me a valuable lesson. When I re-gripped a wedge I hadn't used for a while and put it in my bag, I noticed a significant difference in softness and feel compared to the rest of the set. Since they otherwise all felt the same, I hadn't noticed the difference prior to the change. They all still looked great but the feel wasn't there. Baking them all summer was a mistake I won't make again next year.

Just don't last long
28 December 2021

I've been using the MCC Plus 4 standard grips pretty much since they came out. They were unavailable to grip my new irons so I went with the MCC Plus with Align. Never again. I just can't keep them from slipping. I have to clean them way more often than any grip I've ever had just to gets some grip back. They were less than 1 month old before I noticed the alignment strip gets slippery before the rest of the grip. Also, the area down at the label gets slick early on too. The regular MCC plus 4 grips aren't real durable either but the Align version is probably only for somone (pros) who change their grips every few weeks for free. Way too costly for me!

MCC +4 Midsize Align grips
13 January 2022

MCC +4 Midsize Align grips came installed in my factory customized TaylorMade P790's. They look, feel and play great. I'm very fastidious about my grips and always bring a towel with me to lay my clubs on when I'm away from my bag and at the very least run a damp towel over them before and after a round and before each shot when the weather is damp or extremely hot and humid. I consider the golf glove essential to a good , confident grip. It goes on and off with every shot and gets replaced after approximately 10 rounds or whenever it loses it's tackiness. Keeping fresh, undamaged grips on my clubs is cheaper than buying new clubs because of some commercial hyping more distance, higher launch and tighter dispersion. For about the cost of one new wedge every 12 months or so, I can have a new club feel by replacing my grips and I don't have to try to adjust my swing to new stuff. Clearly, I'm stuck on my new grips.

Perfect For Mr
6 June 2023

I have tried everything when it comes to grips. I've done it all from standard, to Jumbo and even the Jumbo max, every size in there (S, M, L and XL). The midsize 4 are the grips for me. I don't have massive hands but the way these feel is unbeatable. I love the guide on the back too, I can feel that in my fingers and builds so much confidence, I would never go with anything else. It has taken me 2 years to get to these but I am please that I have finally found the grips for me.

Solid choice for a grip
6 December 2022

Solid connection to the club through the grip is an essential to the game. I'm always looking for grips that better suit my hands and game. That means a medium firm grip (not spongy, and not hard/slick) that also handles humid and wet conditions. I am still evaluating the alignment feature, which seems interesting, and I think at worst will have no negative impact, but I'm hopeful that it will perform as advertised.

Still Aligned
15 June 2022

I wrote a review about these grips not long after they arrived on my factory customized Taylormade P790 irons. I probably have about forty to fifty rounds on them now and if you think I was enthusiastic before, I'm over the moon now. I've played them in North Carolina Winter, Spring and now Summer weather and they've traveled with me to Torrey Pines, Palm Springs, Pittsburgh and Pinehurst. I still can't find any complaints. I'm not seeing any signs of excessive wear nor loss of feel or tackiness. As I said before, I'm very careful about keeping my grips free of dirt and contaminants such as sun screen and bug spray by laying them on a towel instead of the ground and refreshing them with a dampened towel frequently during a round. I love them so much, my wife is getting jealous of them.

The Align feature is useless
28 December 2022

I simply cannot feel the align feature at the bottom of the grip. I suppose if this grip was put on so the align feature went through the pads of your finger tips, folks could feel it and it would be useful, perhaps. But with the align feature being much further up in the fingers it is too small to be felt. The grips are a bit harsh on your hands to, kind of rough, but should last longer than most because of this.
