(1,890 reviews)

A powerful handset that lives up to its brand's billing, the Google Pixel 3 64GB is home to a whole host of unique features that are certainly worth considering and comparing with other top devices on the market! Encased in a two-tone glass design, the matte Gorilla Glass finish ensures durability accompanies the premium appearance. The 5.5" Quad HD+ OLED display is a stunner that's also seriously responsive, while a dual-speaker design provides glorious audio that makes watching videos a superb experience. The face of the phone also hosts two front-facing cameras, including one wide-angle lens that's designed specifically for group selfie shots, removing the need for everyone to squeeze into frame and potentially create awkward angles. Both these and the rear 12MP unit benefit from the designated camera chip in the phone that results in a wealth of available tech, like the 'Top Shot' feature that automatically finds and recommends the perfect frame in which everyone is looking with smiles and open eyes. Love a late-night snap? You'll love the Night Sight feature that removes the need for flash and captures quality images in the darkest of conditions - it needs to be seen to be believed! Of course, any device carrying the 'Google' name is expected to be smart, and this doesn't disappoint! Built around the Android operating system for maximum intuitiveness, you can squeeze the sides of the handset to gain access to Google Assistant and the option to control the phone with just your voice. Spotted something you love when out and about? Use the Google Lens to learn more about it and product and how to get it. Wow! Features: Premium glass body looks and feel great The vivid 5.5" display is sensitive and highly responsive Make the most of peak smartphone camera performance An abundance of integrated Google technology Benefit from the option of wireless charging Supplied with a quick switch cable that makes transferring from other devices easy Dual speakers and Pixel buds take care of your audio needs Specification: Overall dimensions: W68.2 x L7.9 x H145.6 mm (W2.69 x L0.31 x H5.73") Screen diameter: 5.5" Storage capacity: 64GB Processor: Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 Screen type: P-OLED capacitive touchscreen Resolution: 1080 x 2160 Camera: Rear 12.2MP; Front dual 8MP

I end up having to unlock my phone, go all the way in to the clock settings, scroll to the alarm that's going off and turn it off. And the icing on the cake is the latest update!!!! It changed the whole format of my phone so now I have to relearn my whole phone again. It's so frustrating. I will never get another Google pixel again! I will stick to android.

Giving it 2 stars because it functions like a phone. You can call, text, use the internet, use apps... However, the price is ridiculous for the quality of the phone. With every update came glitches and so many annoying moments when my phone would freeze for long periods of time. Sometimes it would freeze while starting up. I can't even text people without getting irritated with the phone because sometimes it decides to stop tracking my touches and comes up with gibberish letters that aren't even near the ones I typed. Even as I type this review I'm struggling with the dumb keyboard. The camera is okay. The editing the photos app does? Terrible. I turned off the smoothing effect and people's faces are still blurred and editing to the point of creepiness. I've had ... MoreGiving it 2 stars because it functions like a phone. I was a little concerned that the phone might have annoying scratches on the screen. It did arrive with 2 extremely minor scratches, but I have to look carefully to see them. The battery life has been fully acceptable, much better than the Pixel XL that this phone is replacing. I purchased a wireless charger that meets the Qi standard, and it works well with the Pixel 3. The Pixel 3 screen is larger than than on my XL, yet the phone itself is significantly smaller. Once I transferred my data from the old phone to the Pixel 3, Google offered an OS upgrade to Android 12. This being the last OS upgrade the Google will provide for the phone, I installed it. It has some convenient features. Lastly, the Pixel 3 is a recent enough product that I was able to buy an Otterbox ... MoreI was a little concerned that the phone might have annoying scratches on the screen. Overall, an excellent phone for an excellent price.

Extremely satisfied with this phone!
27 July 2021

I love this phone. I have had it for 3 years and it still runs as smoothly as the day I bought it. I rarely have any issues with it and, on those rare occasions, a reboot or update fixes it right away. Phones I've had in the past have started to lag after about a year or so (planned obsolescence?). Eventually, they have needed to be replaced because the OS would just die out. This one is still going strong and I adore it. Screen resolution is great for videos, sound is awesome for music and podcasts, and photo quality still blows my mind even in 2021. Heck, even the headphones it came with still work and are some of the best I've had!The only drawback is the battery life. However, when I bought it new, I was satisfied with it. It may have been just a bit shorter than what I was expecting but not by much. It was still charged after work and when I got home. Now, probably due to its age, it needs charging especially after consistent use. However, it charges quickly and strategic chargers in my car and living room keep her perky. If you want the newest, hottest phone every year, then you'll want to pass. If you're like me, though, and want to buy a phone and not have to again for years, this is an excellent option! I bought it in 2018 and will use it until it breaks.

Great Value, but...
26 February 2023

The phone arrived quickly and is in really good condition. I am very pleased with the phone itself. The package included a cleaning cloth and a key for ejecting the card tray. But, unfortunately, the box did not contain anything else. The Best Buy listing for this item says "This Refurbished product: [...] ·Includes all required accessories." I would consider a changer plug-in and cable to be "required accessories", but no charger nor cable was included. For the price, I can't complain, but still, I was somewhat surprised that the phone's battery was 100% dead and I had no way to charge it. (Luckily, I had a USB-C cable and charger on hand.) So, all in all, a very nice phone for the price, but buyer beware that you may not get a charger and cable, both of which I ... MoreThe phone arrived quickly and is in really good condition. The Google Pixel 3 is a reminder of what kind of value we used to get for our money when buying a phone. as little as 2 years ago. I bought it used/refurbished for $210 (with a 2-year warranty covering parts and labor) which is what a phone should cost, not these ridiculous $1,200 flagship phones that are designed to solve nonexistent problems. Yeah I can't experience the full color palette of the movie Coco in a velvety smooth 120+ frames per second, but I also have an additional $800-1,000 + the cost of chargers and new earbuds sitting in my back pocket which is a tradeoff I'll take. Speaking of headphones, not only did this come with an actual charger, it came with a FREE PAIR OF HEADPHONES. And not some rinky dink headphones - these are the criminally underrated wired google pixel buds. The sound is great and the 'cord as a stabilizing loop' is comfortable and a brilliant use of engineering. As far as the phone itself, battery life isn't great but it's more than enough to never be an issue charging intermittently in my car, at my desk at work, etc. The photos this camera produces are way better than they have any right to be. Google's AI photo processing is leaps and bounds beyond anything else out there today and my photos aren't world class but they look great even compared with modern flagship phones. If you can tell the difference you're either zoomed in 20x, a professional photographer, or full of it. Every phone I've owned since 2011 has essentially the same specs: 8 core processor, 2-4 GB of ram, few hundred GB of memory/storage, and 1-2 days battery life. Price I paid for those phones ranges from $750 (Huwaei Nexus 6p new) to $200 (pixel 2 I used to own and pixel 3 I have now). From a user perspective, I can't tell a single difference between any of the last 5 phones I've owned (the 2 not mentioned were a droid razr back in 2011/2012 and an LG V4 or something) except that now I'm not getting taken to the cleaners every time the battery life goes down the drain due to planned obsolescence. Great phone and buying it doesn't make you feel like Ned Beatty in Deliverance.

Greedy Google.
24 July 2021

I loved my Pixel 3. But I purchased it in 2018 because I love taking photos and it had good camera reviews and FREE UNLIMITED Google storage. I was hesitant because I thought 64GB wouldn't be nearly enough but with free Google storage I decided to give it a try. Recently Google got greedy and decided to charge a monthly storage fee. Considering the only reason I switched to the Pixel was that storage and there's no expandable storage and very little actual storage on the phone itself they basically force you to pay for storage. I'm furious that they pulled a bait and switch. Promising that the terrible storage space would be compensated for by free unlimited storage then taking that away. More and more of the services that made this phone amazing are being taken away and or are being slapped with a price tag. I was planning on upgrading to the newest Pixel but with only 128GB storage on the phone itself and having to pay for unlimited storage when all other flagship models are rocking a 268GB to 512GB internal storage the pixels are no longer worth it.

Nice Photos // Mediocre Phone
28 July 2021

I purchased my first Pixel 3 back in March of 2019. I ended up sending it back due to a few very strange defects pertaining to the display. I was sent a new device, which had screen issues as well. I decided to keep it, however, as I was enjoying everything else about the phone and got a decent deal (500 Dollars). One year later, the charging port began to work poorly. I use wireless charging, so I still was not too bothered. A few months later, all of the physical buttons began to malfunction and battery life degraded. The buttons work intermittently and sometimes stick. Overheating has also been very prevalent in the past year. The software is also quite buggy, which is the opposite of what I expected. The one and only positive I can say is the phone still takes great photos. It is just becoming very unreliable with only 2 years of age. A black dot has also started to form in the display and spreads slowly. Disappointing, but I still have enjoyed this phone to the fullest.

Nice beautiful phone set with some drawback.

Overall product is OK. Does have sign of wear (scratch) on back but not such bad. Product received without any booklet or manual. A new alternative (not original) adapter but compatible charger along with a cable received, and it always takes long time to fully charged. No needle provided for opening SIM tray. One point here I must mention is that it discharges very swiftly even not in use. And the discharge is approximately 50% within one day even not a single use. So, just imagine what will happen if I need to call several person and use browsing 20 minutes. This problem I never faced with any other phones I have ever had. Back portion gets unusual hot while in charging and talking over phone. Thanks

Small, but a powerful device
7 July 2022

It's exactly what I expected, a great 2018 Google flagship smartphone. It is quite small, but it is great for gaming. It has a 2.80GHz CPU, 3.48 GB of usable RAM. If you plan on buying this phone and are wanting some sort of case with a built in kickstand, there aren't many options, most of those are for the 3a model, which are slightly bigger and do not have the speakers in the right place. The battery life is exceptional. This phone lasts for about 14 hours on a full charge. The reason why this product is cheap as it is, is because Google no longer provides OS & security updates to this phone.
