Easily one of the worst cases I've ever owned, for ANY phone. The inner plastic shell broke at two points where the camera is situated, and the outer plastic is warped near the volume controls and in the lower left corner. This is after less than 2 months of having the phone. Spend 7-8 dollars more and get the OtterBox Verizon offers, because this thing belongs in the trash. I tried to upload photos but the Verizon app, much like this phone case, doesn't work and is junk.

This case looks great but it is limited as far as phone cases go. Material wise, it is a soft rubbery plastic with a mat finish. It is lightweight and looks great, and I always use a case to protect corners from knocks and bumps. Scores for appearance, feel, weight, and the camera strip on the back (which ensures the camera is not obstructed) looks great. 2 reasons this case doesn't get 5 stars: 1, it does not have any screen protection. The corners are protected, which of course will protect the screen from cracks originating from the corner but that's it. Lack of robustness is the 2nd reason. I got the case as offer for free during Black Friday promotions and I had no any expectations however turned to be very snug fit. The case goes really well with both black or white phones., there is another colour for the green pixels. There is rubber feel to it and provides really good grip, does not add much of a bulk and seems to protect all around including the screen. So far so good. Highly recommended.

I bought this since some of the third-party cases elsewhere on-line are allegedly not a perfect fit, and so thought I'd splash out on Google's own. I've not dropped the phone and don't intend to, but I'm pretty sure the case would do a good job if I did - although that is because it is thick and chunky plastic, turning a small and slender handset (by modern standards) into something distinctly more Fisher-Price. Not really the Google design I hoped for.
The case is a great fit for the phone and protects against most bumps and drops. Its withstood quite a bit of ratling around in bags and pockets and still the phone is as good as new. The only reason for 4 stars is that its a pretty bland case and any scratches are visible on the case but then their not on the phone. If you want a case that keeps your phone protected against most things then this will do the job.
This case fits the Pixel 6a very well. It provides a raised lip around the screen and around the camera bar. However it is smooth, there are no ridges or cross-hatching to improve your grip. The material is not slippery but I would have preferred a rougher surface. There are several other cases with improved anti-slip features that are cheaper.
I purchased this case with the phone. I figured since the case was made by Google it would fit well (as I had a Pixel 4a prior with a Google case and it worked great). However while cleaning my phone I noticed that the back has been getting scratched up, in the case. Because I only ever take the case off for cleaning. This signifies a poor fit that lets debris in pretty easily.
Worst phone case in history. My pixel 3 and 4a cases were stylish, functional and lasted two years each. This one barely managed 3 no ths before the outer soft plastic stared separating from the hard inner casing. I don't give the phone much of a vigorous workout, so this has been extremely disappointing. Up your game, google.
I am delighted with this phone, it is very easy to use. Battery power is excellent, keypad sharp and precise to use and the edit feature to remove parts of a photo is beyond expectations. I have used it for a couple of months and have not really experienced any negative qualities. My son assures me that the camera is excellent and that again it is easy to zoom in and also take a wider angle very easily.
The case is nice fitting and has a good feel to it, as one would expect from a first-party accessory. However, after a few months of use, the portion of the case near the buttons and charging port started warping and peeling away from the phone. This is a common issue with these cases with plenty of examples online. Google warranty replacement is hit or miss and it's just going to happen again with the same case. For $40 there are plenty of other options that will actually keep their shape.
