I have the Quick Clip that came included with my Head Strap. The Quick Clip is a one-dimensional mount. Good for mounting the GoPro to a hat mostly. The Magnetic Swivel Mount has much more versatile with a tight grip and ridged clamp. Has plenty of bite to mount the GoPro securely to my backpack strap whereas the Quick Clip was nowhere near as strong. The magnet, while not particularly strong, can be handy on some metal surfaces.

This is a nice addition to my GoPro gear. Took it camping and clipped it to my single strap bag. If you like/ use the quick release system then this is ideal. I personally get frustrated having to unscrew and re-screw my mounts everywhere. I like the seem less quick release and in to the mount for the right angle. My only critique would be to have the clamp open a bit wider. It’s really only designed for thin straps.

Used to clip to backpack strap which works really well for cycling and storing. Gopro 9 image stabilization works well enough to keep things smooth. The magnet is helpful for static uses. Not strong enough for moving vehicles.

Love this thing very glad I brought it on my trip. The small size meant I could leave it clipped to the flap of my pack without taking up space inside when not in use. Also love how strong the jaws were. Wish the magnet was a little stronger, it definitely does not replace a suction cup mount for glass or outside of a car.
I would give it 5-stars but....the magnetic side is good but not great. I wanted it to be great but it isn't. However.....it is great. Just not good enough for me to give it 5-stars. I lost a Hero8 because this magnetic clip wasn't strong enough of a magnet.Anyways, you could still clip this to like a bag strap, or anything thin like a bag strap. Go on and get this. It's been one of those attachments where you don't need it till you need it.
Love it, I have my go pro on this attachment most of the time. I can stick it or clip it in so many places for what use it. I use the bike mouth a lot and with its quick release plate it easy to switch between the two mounts. It’s pricey considering you can find cheaper brands but I really trust go pro brands there well made.
Sorry, I'm not impressed with this magnetic swivel clip mount. The spring jaws are okay, but the magnetic base is very weak. I would not trust it to hold my Hero 8 Black, or any other GoPro action camera to anything metal. One good bump or jolt and you've just damaged or lost your camera. It slides to easily on anything metal that is painted, if you bump it (while attached vertically ) it falls off. I tested it without the camera of course. I'll stick with the magnetic mount I made myself using the magnets from a hard disk drive and a Gopro adhesive camera mount.
This makes filming so much easier when all you need is a little metal or somewhere to clip to and your GoPro is not going anywhere. I personally love this for around the shop or under the hood. Fair warning if you are using it under the hood of your car, please remember to grab that camera before you go slamming the hood down a few times.....The hood, GoPro Hero 10 and the magnetic clip mount I was using all survived! My son is too small to wear the Chesty so I clip the camera to his backpack strap.

I know magnetic is in its title but when I brought it home I was shocked because I didn't know where it was magnetic until I saw the back of it. So far I only have a couple good places indoors to stick it to because I only live in a suite but it can stick it to things that are too large to actually clamp it onto (like metal railings or the fridge)It fits in my hardshell case with my tripod, charger and little cube shaped charger, my SD card reader, spare batteries case and even a waterproof gopro case all snug. It's such a good addition and I don't really need my other accessories like my chest mount or ... Great to clip on backpack and anything it can fit in the clip opening. Makes it easier to take videos while walking or hiking, frees your hands. Swivel freely and it stops anywhere you leave it with good resistance to sudden moves. Rubber teeth help with grip, but the opening isn't very wide, so don't think it will bite on to anything thicker than 1cm Securely. The magnet isn't very strong, ok ish on a fridge door, but wouldn't try to stick it on a moving car or similar. A little pricey but I couldn't find any good alternatives for less. Slightly bigger than would like.
