It was kept at room temperature all of the 4 months. It is over hyped and overpriced.I will certainly buy another brand. And as far as Wal Mart. All of the St. Louis stores employees have become sarcastic and independent, trying to avoid you when they think you may want to ask a question. Be careful not to get the car wax on your project, for most car waxes contain silicone, which will wreak havoc on most finishing applications.PG will turn your hands brown, and only Acetone will take it off if the PG is wet. Once dried on your hands, the acetone does very little to remove it. It takes about a week or more for the PG to wear off, and it looks like you never wash your hands.Unfortunately, Acetone is nasty stuff. Use only in well-ventilated spaces or wear a respirator, for it is readily absorbed in the bloodstream when breathing, and you must wear gloves for it’s absorbed through the skin. There is still much debate about whether Acetone should be considered a carcinogen. Please Google Acetone to learn more about it and use it at your own risk.Because of the above, wear good, thick, disposable gloves. We use 6-mil thick gloves because thinner ones break, and once you are clamping up, there’s no time to put on another pair of gloves in most cases. The wood needs to be dampened if you are using kiln-dried wood. If the PG doesn’t foam, that’s when you know the adhesion is not that strong and the wood is too dry.As well documented in other reviews, the PG foam expands about three to four times its volume. There are certain types of joints we wouldn’t recommend it for. Mostly, enclosed joints such as mortise and tenon joints because such a joint has few escape routes for the foam to exit and will crack the wood. This we learned the hard way early on when we first started using PGs.One of the main reasons we use PGs is that you have about ten to fifteen minutes of open clamping time, depending upon your ambient conditions. Their suggestion of fifteen to twenty minutes is a reach in my experience. The warmer and dryer the humidity, the shorter the open clamping time, but it is still around seven to ten minutes in the semi-arid Southwest on a 95F degree day.We like the Gorilla brand because of its workability in that it is thin enough to spread easily. In cold weather, we microwave it for only about eight to ten seconds, so it spreads more readily. We usually have to special order it because we buy it in the 36 oz container but only purchase what you can use within a few months. Per Gorilla’s own specifications, it has a shelf life of about twelve months.Make a test sample of gluing two pieces of wood with polyurethane glue if you've never used it before. It does not work like white or yellow glues.

Original gorilla glue is so versatile. You can use it on Woodstone metal, ceramic foam glass and plastic and even more. Just follow the instructions on how to use it. I personally have used it to fix my kids toys, dyi projects, fix broken dragon statue and so much more. When they say glow glue bonds fortunately with everything they are so right. it does take a couple hours for the glue to dry so you just have to be patient! But it’s the strongest hold once the glue dries. I definitely recommend this glue to anyone.

Hard to work With
7 August 2023

I found this product difficult to work with. The first use is OK, but the 2nd use is frustrating. It gets too thick and the squeeze tip is 'glued' to the bottle. Needed a small hand wrench to unscrew %26 clean out tip area. Then the gel is too thick to squeeze out. So I opened a little and left in the sun for 20 minutes to allow the heat to thin it out. But even then, it was too thick to come through the tiny squeeze tip, so I had to enlarge that. Clean up around the seam of whatever you're working on is very tricky too, if not impossible. They should provide a small clean-up rag of special material with this product; Otherwise you're %26*(). FYI - if you get some on your hands; try Comet or another gritty kind of 'soap' immediately. On the plus side - once it ... MoreI found this product difficult to work with. Literally works on everything
18 August 2024

I got this product a few weeks ago and it just have been fate because things around my house started falling apart lol. We have used this to reconnect the handle on our bulkhead and fixed a piece of my sons playhouse that fell off. My favorite fox however was in my favorite work shoes, the sole had starting coming off. Just a small amount of this stuff and it was like brand new. Has held up through rain storms and everything. I even bought a second bottle (pictured) because we have some outdoor projects to work on that will require more

Not impressed
4 September 2024

I’m so disappointed at this glue. My son gave me a flower pot for Mother’s Day that broke on a unusual windy day. I was looking forward to fixing it as soon as I got my bottle of glue. I followed the directions on the label and put it back together. I had no idea the glue bubbled and despite me cleaning the excess it still bubbled and leaked out. This thing did dry as cement which is good but I can’t clean the glue that bubbled out and it ruined the pot. So yes, this glue works as intended but definitely not for all surfaces. Use with care.

Original Gorilla Glue gets the job done!
23 September 2024

Original Gorilla Glue is the ultimate glue to have on hand for any project. It’s so easy to use and does an incredible job. I had made a mosaic lamp, but the glass tiles kept falling off every time I went to grout to finish my project. Just a tiny dab of Gorilla Glue is all you need and it holds everything in place. It’s easy to use, just wear gloves to protect your hands, slightly dampen one side of the surface and apply a thin layer of glue. At first I was worried about the glue not being clear, but for my project it didn’t matter cause the color of the tiles and the light bulb reflect a yellowish tint anyway. I let my lamp sit over night, and everything stayed together!! I finally have a beautiful lamp to use!!! Thank you Gorilla Glue!!

If you’re a crafty gal like me, you need this glue. Even if you AREN’T crafty, you need this glue! One of the things that I use this glue the most for, besides random repairs, is making my own hair clips, hair flowers, bows, etc. I put this to the ultimate test today, after creating a flower hair clip this morning. I used two small dabs of glue on the clip/flower, and wore it out today in some pretty extreme weather. We are experiencing hard rain, HARSH winds, and tornado warnings…this clip stayed put, and I had no concerns about it falling apart. This bottle is easy to use and easy to hold, as it fits perfectly in your hand and the applicator tip makes it easy to apply. The best glue I have ever tried
20 August 2024

The screw that held the curtain pole in my living room was stripped and falling off, I had no way to fix it immediately so I used Original Gorilla Glue and it worked very well. Maybe that's not the intended use, but the curtain pole remained very firm and didn't fall. The only drawback is that you have to avoid using too much because it can spread to other areas and can stain, plus it bulges like foam. Otherwise it is the best glue I have ever tried. I received this product for free from Influenster and Gorilla Glue in exchange for my honest review.
