According to the package these hot glue gun sticks provide a long term hold on hard to bond surfaces and are non-yellowing over time. Although the glue appears clear when hot coming out of the glue gun it does turn translucent, just like the glue sticks, when it cools off. However there doesn’t seem to be any color to it, it looks more like frosted glass. The sticks can be used in HI, LOW, and Dual Temperature glue guns and is able to withstand seasonal temperature changes, according to the package. I did not test this however. It says to use high temperature on things like metal, wood, glass and plastic, and low temperature on things like fabric, foam, jewelry and floral items. I did like that the glue does not have a yellow tint to it like most other glue sticks. ... MoreAccording to the package these hot glue gun sticks provide a long term hold on hard to bond surfaces and are non-yellowing over time. I absolutely love these Gorilla Glue Sticks! We use alot of hot glue in our household and have tried so many different brands. These Gorilla Glue Sticks not only work in any glue gun, but are fantastic for making strong, secure bonds that do not lift or break over time. Additionally, they work well on all types of material including paper, cardboard, plastic and more!

Every year I make candy sleighs for my students/patients and staff. I got glue them together. Every year I have to fix a few mishaps due to transporting them to Valle Vista Health. This year was the first time that I didn’t need to do any repairs! It’s also the first time I didn’t have strings of glue like spider webs on them. Thank you Gorilla Glue for making a great product!

Gorilla Glue Mini Glue Gun Sticks # 103129 package of 30.These mini glue sticks are recommended for use in the Gorilla Glue Mini Dual Temp Glue Gun Model 84015A. The glue easily dispensed (waiting the 5 minute required warm up time) from the gun without excessive overflow or setting too quickly on the fabric appliques on which we were working. Once dried, the glue permitted some flexibility of the two fabric pieces we had bonded together.I recommend this glue type as a good choice for arts and crafts projects were the older type of glue which required higher temperatures to dispense, would always melt part of the synthetic fabrics were contact was made.
Last week, I used a $5.00 Rewards coupon toward the purchase of a Gorilla brand, dual temperature glue gun. I have only had an off-brand, low temp glue gun, which is okay for use on fabric and paper. I now need a glue gun with a higher temperature setting for gluing wood, glass and metal. So, this week, I used another $5.00 coupon toward the package of Gorilla glue sticks, which are recommended for use in their glue gun. Previously, I "Googled" to see if there is a difference between glue sticks by Gorilla glue and by other brands. Apparently, there is a difference, the ones by Gorilla supposedly being better due to a different chemical composition. However, I do not know yet, since I have yet to use the new glue sticks with the new glue gun.
I accidentally bought the mini glue sticks... But I'm not exchanging them for the regular size because I'm too lazy. Unless the Walmart delivery people will take back stuff with them.?🤔ðŸ’anyhow, this stuff is great for putting stuff together with melted clear plastic sticks sort of stuff. It takes a little practice to produce the maximum fine stringy clear threads. But the fringe benefit is you'll find 'em for days if you keep your arms moving while you're doing the glue job, 😜 it's awesome-ine! Not to mention the numerous fine, transparent, thin, clear threads that you find everywhere but later on, a nugget in your hair or ear even. Some on your pillowcase in your bedroom a week after the gluing production. Plus a lot of strings but they're kind of cool too. If ... MoreI accidentally bought the mini glue sticks... Some on your pillowcase in your bedroom a week after the gluing production. Plus a lot of strings but they're kind of cool too. If you ever wanted to stick stuff back together - or together for the first time with hot plastic glue stuff 🙂 then you've got to buy the heat gun for it by the same gorilla brand - with two temperature settings for delicate flower gluing or gluing metal stuff. The minis are for a very small gun that doesn't shoot much out of it. I think you'll be way more satisfied with a bigger gun and more hot melted glue shooting out of it versus a delicate small one. If you're gluing decent size stuff get the bigger one not the mini.
Gorilla products never disappoint and their glue sticks are no exception. I've used many Gorilla products along the way but, in the past, I just got any ol' glue stick that came along with various results. Nothing various this time though, I got 'Gorilla Strong' gluing 'decorative' cover caps in place that protect nut and bolt type of hardware. Since they're located down low they need to stand up to the knocks of mopping and general cleaning. They're not going anywhere!
If you all have ti substitute an item rhat you all say you have unstore....qhy does the customer have to pay the difference??? I ordered a 30 count of these glue sticks and was charged more because uou had to substitute this with 3. ten packs. 10 pks are always much higher. I have alit if returns from my order and what i really needed, they fidnt bother substituting. Very frustrated with Wal Mart right now
Very good packaging, it list temperature range for different materials to be glued. The bag is also re-sealable. Sticks are very clear with no yellow tint. So glue seems are not that visible if appearance is important. Also glue doesn't require high temperature to melt as with some other brands. When cured it stays flexible which is important if you use to glue wires to PCB. I used unbranded sticks before that had yellow tint and while they had slightly better adhesion cured glue continue to harden after sometime and tend to crack if exposed to vibration. This sticks have enough adhesion for RC airplane to hold wires to board and even with lower exterior temperatures they stay flex and glue seams don't harden or crack.
I like the Gorilla Glue brand in other adhesive uses so I thought I'd give it a try with their hot glue; and it works just fine. I don't know if it works better than other brands, it just gets the job done. the price isn't too bad and I've had enough experience of this sort of thing to know I don't want to use the bargain basement hot glue if I can help it. so, a worthwhile buy.
